About the host
Hosted by Tracy Lucente

From the early 1930’s until 2005 when we bought the Tumalo Lake property, the original family owners operated a small vacation resort. There were six small log cabins, one of which doubled as an office. In addition to the trout-stocked lake there was a swimming pool area at one side of the lake, an ice house, utility sheds and outhouses. It was completely off the grid.
Upon purchase of the property, we began to create a specialty resort that would offer luxury vacation rental accommodations built in a cabin style, taking advantage of gorgeous natural surroundings. Tumalo Lake Lodge and Cabins is a one-of-a-kind property that offers a truly unique Bend experience...immerse in the natural beauty and serenity of Tumalo Lake while staying in spectacular accommodations with close access to all that downtown Bend and the surrounding area has to offer.

Why they chose this property
After living in Chicago and pursuing our careers for many years, we chose to move to Central Oregon for all of the outdoor activities right out our door, and for a more peaceful lifestyle. We love being in Central Oregon and enjoy sharing this amazing place with our guests. We love the Tumalo Lake property – its beauty and privacy, and immersion in nature.
