Four adults enjoyed a four night stay at Nana’s Nest! We had everything we needed! The house was clean and smelled so good upon arrival. Check-in and check-out process was seamless. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed. Front porch was so nice to gather and chat! It was a perfect place to bring some of our adult children for my daughter’s birthday weekend.
Great little house. Comfortable and clean. Great quiet street. Our only issue was the electronic door went out while we were there, luckily not at check in. There was a bit of delay on communication because they don't message back in the app, except an auto reply, but via email. I didn't know this so I kept waiting and didn't check email for a while. Once I did notice the email it was replaced within a few hours. Loved the weekend away there though.
Super cute place. Listing my pros and cons for awareness of future renters. I would stay here again so this isn’t a complaint. Just things we wish we would have known.
Pros:
Nice and roomy loving area
Clean property
Great fenced backyard for your pup
Easy to get to/find
Beds are super comfy
Fans in bedrooms are great for extra comfort
Cons:
Bedrooms are super small with larger beds (little room for luggage)
Kitchen could use a few bowls for storage of leftovers
Bathrooms definitely small
No cable or satellite. There is a TV and you can log into your own Hulu or Disney+. We could never get Netflix to work.
Internet doesn’t allow for great streaming of shows/movies.
We didn’t realize the table behind the couch could be pulled into the kitchen and used as a dining room table so we just ate at the bar all week.
Overall we had a nice, relaxing time. We really enjoyed the front porch. We played games on the picnic table in the evenings and it was wonderful. The fans provide some great breezes! Neighborhood was super quiet and everyone we ran across was very friendly.
This house is adorable! Our favorite part was the screened in porch. It is a 5 minute drive to the beach and easily walkable to the Beach Pantry for quick provisions. The fenced back yard was a big plus for our 11lb dog who loved running around in the back. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and all the appliances are new. The hangers in all the closets were greatly appreciated since there is not a lot of extra room in the bedrooms for storage. We appreciated the extra fan in one of the closets and noticed there was also an inflatable air bed in another closet (that we did not use since the ceiling fans were more than ample to cool the rooms). My only suggestion would be to add a few more shelves in both bathrooms if possible as there is very little counter space. Overall great place and would highly recommend! Also, P.S., make sure you park in an official parking space when you go the beach or you will get a $50 fine (like us). Also, make sure the garbage cans are rolled out for pickup on Monday. We made the mistake of not doing this since we assumed they were empty because we had not used them and then discovered both trash cans were completely full. Make sure you catch at least one sunset from the pier!
