About this property

Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Quiet Family Friendly Lake!

Our little piece of heaven away from it all! Small, rustic but pristinely clean cottage as close to the water as you can possibly get. Just steps from the lake, the cottage is perfect for families or couples looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. The four bedrooms comfortably sleep 8 (loft - queen bed; main bedroom 1 - twin bunkbed; main bedroom 2 - twin captains bed with rollout mattress below; sunroom - double bed with lake view). Enjoy watching the loons, turtles, and many song birds from the dock. Bathroom houses toilet, sink & small laundry machines and is a bit unique in that it is accessed off the deck. Shower is located in an outbuilding right next to the cottage. There is plenty to do indoors and out! Water has a nice, shallow entrance that is safe for young children. Access to kayaks, SUPS, life jackets, large floatie mat, fishing rods, and water toys. If you're done with playing on the lake, entertain yourself with the many outdoor toys/sports (ball gloves, golf clubs, pickleball paddles and portable net, tennis racquets, ladder golf, frisbie, Spikeball, etc), puzzles, games, crafts, books, cards, etc. Cottage has satellite internet, TV (watch DVDs or stream with the Chromecast), and a wireless speaker. Enjoy the firepit at night or take in the stars from the dock. Fans in each room keep the cottage nice and cool, but there are also a couple portable a/c units for the really hot days if needed. Many great activities to enjoy nearby including Lyndway Hills Golf Club, Wendy's Country Market, hiking, biking, fishing, antique shops, ferry tours of the Thousand Islands, and exploring the quaint towns of Lyndhurst, Delta, Brockville and Gananoque.

*This is our first summer of opening our family cottage up beyond to family and friends. We are looking for respectful tenants who will enjoy it as much as we do. Will consider permitting small dogs.

Great stay at serenity now! Pam is responsive and supportive. The cottage has everything you will need, it’s very nice not having to bring linens. The wifi is not great but it’s good for a social media break. The water is warm the turtles were a highlight for my son.

Our family has been thrilled to spend our summers on Grippen Lake for the past five years. As our children have gotten older and have competing demands on their time, we are happy to open our cottage up for other families to enjoy and build memories there when we can't be there.
