This is the most well appointed VRBO we’ve stayed in. The decor is beautiful, the kitchen fully stocked, the bed and furniture really comfortable. The view -you can’t beat it! Our dogs (and we) loved swimming in the lake! We can’t recommend it enough! We’ll be back!

Thank you for such kind words! I will let my wife know you thought the decor was beautiful. She spent a lot of time on it. Having a dock sure makes it fun with dogs, unless it is my dog. She is scared of water. We would love to have you back!
Best vacation rental EVER!!! The owners have created a very special experience in this thoughtfully designed and stunningly decorated home. We loved waking up each morning to experience the lake from the private dock and watch the eagles soar. We had fun swimming, boating and fishing and this was the perfect spot for it all!!
The house was beautiful and the beds so comfy. The kitchen was excellently equipped and the BBQ and everything else was perfect. There was even s'mores sticks. The fire pit was perfect, and there was plenty of wood. The view is gorgeous and can't be beat. Plenty of towels, beach towels, blankets and pillows. The road to the cabin is very tight and single lane for a good portion of it. We brought our pontoon boat and it was difficult to navigate. We ended up having to take our boat back home because the water level was too low and the water was several feet below the dock, so it wasn't useable with the boat. Just something to think about with timing of your trip. If water is at the "normal" summer level, it would be perfect. The stairs down to the dock/water area are not something I would recommend for toddlers or people who can't do a lot of stairs, as there are quite a few of them. They helped keep us in shape while visiting. I would recommend for families with slightly older kids. Fishing from the dock was a ton of fun.

Thank you so much for the wonderful, detailed 4-star review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you loved the beautiful views, the well-stocked kitchen, the cozy beds, and the fire pit. We take great pride in outfitting the cabin with everything our guests might need for a perfect getaway. We appreciate your feedback regarding the boat dock; because Lake Pend Oreille is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, water levels fluctuate seasonally and full summer pool is generally not reached until June. We do try to highlight this seasonal variation in our listing description so guests can plan accordingly. We are so glad you still had fun fishing from the dock and enjoying the scenery, and we would love to welcome you back during the peak summer months for a full boating experience!
