Couples trip to Paris

Location was convenient for seeing the Eiffel Tower. Other attractions were a bit far but the metro station is very close. The apartment itself was ok. Decor was outdated but matched the pics on the listing. Things that didn’t match the listing: NO dryer, washing machine did not drain (my husband is handy and fixed it but it was frustrating to have to deal with that), heater didn’t work (host later told us the radiator is turned off for the whole apartment building in summer…:but we were there at end of May when it was chilly and rainy), only 1/2 roll of toilet paper provided. Host told us to tell the concierge that we were friends of the family (in French). We didn’t appreciate having to lie. Apartment looked lived in with too much stuff on the shelves, etc. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers in the closets.

Dommage d’avoir reçu cette évaluation car l’appartement est refait à neuf ( il n’est absolument pas vieillot). Si Susan m’avait informé d’un problème je l’aurai immédiatement réglé ( notamment pour la machine à laver je pouvais faire intervenir une entreprise et pour le papier toilette il suffisait d’ouvrir le placard juste à côté pour trouver …). Sur une autre plate-forme j’ai reçu plus de 150 avis 5 étoiles !!
