Fabulous Renovated Historic Home Downtown
"The White House" is one of the oldest homes in Galveston. She started out much smaller and was the first school house in Galveston Pre Civil War. The 170 yr old restored home offers 4 bedrooms and 2 dens. It is set up for multiple families to enjoy together yet with their own privacy. She is equipped with new memory foam mattress, luxurious linens and a gourmet kitchen so that your stay is nothing less than spectacular. You have a master downstairs and a master upstairs. You also have 2 other bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom. There is also and additional den upstairs that sleeps 2 more.

Great house; great host
We were in Galveston for my daughter’s wedding. We were a party of 10! The White House was not only absolutely gorgeous but was a mile from the church where the wedding took place and about a half mile from the reception venue. Need I say this was perfect for us. Emily answered what few questions I had ahead of time and responded quickly. The house had everything we needed plus! I really can’t say enough about it. (Great kitchen and dining area!) I don’t know that I will need a house that size in Galveston again but if you do…I highly recommend. However I do know Emily has some smaller places nearby and I will definitely consider those in the future!

Perfect stay for our wedding party!
Absolutely LOVED this gorgeous house. Perfect place for our family to spend the weekend getting ready for our daughter’s wedding. Had all the modern amenities wrapped in a beautiful historical home. Amazing place to take pictures too! Hoping our photographer got some good ones of the bride.

This property is like no other on the island. Its one of the oldest homes on the island and has been modernized so that you have every convenience possible. This home is in the best location on the island. You can take a small walk to the Historic strand or 1 mile to the ocean
What makes this property unique
Being that this house is so centrally located to all the main wedding venues it would make the best place for the bride and her bridesmaids to stay or the families during all the festivities
