About the host

My Husband and I moved from South Africa to Canada 6 years ago. South Africans are known for their hospitality and being very sociable. We had an open door policy .... The more the merrier and always room for one more.

Why they chose this property

We moved to Scenic Nanaimo just under a year ago for the relaxed and slower lifestyle that we now enjoy, spending as much time as possible on the water.

What makes this property unique

This unique style of being aboard a boat surrounded by water and views that cannot be matched is indescribable. Just watching the passing boats, floatplanes and Ferries come and go are an experience, not to mention the occasional ocean mammals that decide to detour into the Channel.
The close proximity to all shops, restaurants, parks and walkways is also an asset.
