Welcome to Brookline — a friendly, residential gem in Pittsburgh’s South Hills that offers small-town charm with easy access to the city’s top attractions. Just 15 minutes from downtown and a quick ride to Mount Washington’s famous overlooks, Brookline is the perfect home base for exploring Pittsburgh while enjoying a quieter, local vibe.
Brookline Boulevard is the neighborhood’s heartbeat — a walkable strip packed with neighborhood staples and hidden gems. Grab your morning latte at Creekside Coffee, enjoy authentic Mexican fare at Las Palmas (don’t miss the street tacos from their sidewalk grill), and cap off the evening with a scoop from Scoops on the Blvd. Vintage lovers and gift hunters will enjoy browsing Pitaland for Mediterranean goods or Le Maison Du Paix for home decor and unique finds.
Need a break from the buzz? Head to Brookline Memorial Park, which offers trails, sports courts, and green space for a laid-back afternoon. You`re also less than 20 minutes from Heinz Field, PNC Park, the Carnegie Museums, and the Strip District.
Whether you’re catching a game, exploring the arts, or just here to unwind, Brookline offers a warm welcome and a local flavor that’s unmistakably Pittsburgh.
