Uniquely Relaxing

This place is magical. Quiet and peaceful, a great place for a getaway. We explored Edisto, Bennets Point and Beaufort. Enjoyed cocktails by the water, rode out the hurricane on the covered porch and watched the storms move across the marsh. It’s just beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Oh Wow, dear Guest, I’m so glad to hear that despite the worry of the impending hurricane in the southeastern US, that you enjoyed your stay! How nice you had your parents too! This makes us so happy! The area has a lot to offer and being off the beaten track makes it as you said, very well, I might add, “Uniquely Relaxing”. Thank you for sharing your experience!

We were in town to be to get married at the sandy dam church the house was perfect for us. The neighbors were by all definition neighborly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful.
Not only was there plenty of room for family and friends. There is plenty of cooking utensils to feed all.

Peaceful Perfection

The property is a gem! If you love nature and birds like we do, this is the spot! I lost count on the number of different bird species I spotted just from the deck alone. We also enjoyed the tandem kayak and the nearby Donnelly WMA. I was pleasantly surprised to find a magnificent little seafood restaurant just up the road. I loved it so much, I went a couple of times. The neighbors were very welcoming, the home was clean, and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate my 50th birthday. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

From the owner: "Wow, Susan! First Happy Belated Birthday! And, thank you for the accurate description of how we feel about the house and surrounding areas. It is there to be enjoyed! Thank you for letting us know that you had missed potholders! Ouch! We will make sure they are out for other guests in the future! We appreciate you so much and hope to have you and your family as a guest in the future!"

Entryway is a trip hazard, bricks are all broken and very dangerous. Upstairs family room by the twin beds a large nail sticking up out of the floor., that hurt! Two adults stayed and we tried all four queen beds and all were terrible. Mattresses need replacing, we ended up checking out one day early because our backs were shot. TRAINS! I can’t believe not one review mentioned that trains run day and night. Extremely loud and five to six times during the evening sleeping hours. Not a place to stay until major maintenance is done but the multiple trains is a something that can’t be fixed.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous, peaceful setting! We loved sitting on the back porch in the evenings listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze. It’s perfectly located between Charleston and Beaufort and the sightseeing we planned for our trip. The hosts were quick to respond and easy to work with.
