We had such a wonderful experience! The house was lovely, spacious, and perfect for our large group. The host was incredibly accommodating and made everything so easy for us. The location was fantastic and conveniently close to so many of the attractions, restaurants, and activities we had planned. It made getting around and enjoying our trip so much easier! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great place to stay with a large family. Location was perfect, very close to river walk and quick drive to Lackland and Fort Sam Houston military bases. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Amazing location! Just 1 mile from the heart of the Riverwalk, but two blocks from the river itself. My sisters and I enjoyed walking along the river back to the house and the homes in that neighborhood are so fun to walk by and read the historical plaques.

Great family vacation spot

House was great for a multi-generational family vacation to San Antonio. Excellent location and neighborhood. We walked to the Gunther house for breakfast one morning - highly recommend it. Very convinient for downtown, the missions, and the riverwalk without being right House was great inside and out - easily one of the best/nicest houses we've rented.

Everything was great except the spring beds. I’d encourage the owners to replace the doing needs with sturdy beds. Other than that, everything was great.

I would actually give it a 4.5 star because the location is great, however it was missing some essentials that our family is used to when renting: iron and ironing board. The birds and train were loud in early mornings. The upstairs was noticeably warmer than the downstairs and had different thermostat settings, so that should have been controlled. The ceiling fans had remotes but we couldn't get them to work. The driveway was narrow for an SUV and a pickup, but we made it work. Even with all of that, our kids enjoyed the layout and the multiple bedrooms worked for a 2 family weekend getaway in the upscale King Williams district. The walking distance to Guenther House for breakfast made up for the missing items and we would rent it again, but those small details were worth noting.
