A True Oasis - We didn't want to leave!

From the moment we arrived and welcomed by Amber at The Darling we knew we were staying somewhere special. The is beautifully decorated, immaculately presented and thoughtfully equipped with every detail considered to make guests feel relaxed and completely at home. It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, and it lives up to its name as a private retreat. The location is outstanding. It feels peaceful and secluded in the courtyard by the pool (which we loved and used lots), yet out the front gates and you have Rushcutters Park across the road, Double Bay a short stroll over the hill and the city minutes away with a short drive. Everything about our stay was seamless, and the home exceeded our expectations in every way. We would recommend The Darling Private Oasis to friends and hope to return!

Magical stay at The Darling

Our family loved our week's stay at The Darling. The position was magical, with the harbour front on your doorstep and waking up to birds singing and boats bobbing on the water each morning. The house is spacious and has a wonderful entertaining area at the back, with a gorgeous pool that is nicely heated and BBQ for entertaining. The kitchen is generously stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Beds, sheets and pillows are all luxury for the perfect night's sleep. We can't wait to stay again upon our return!

Wow what a place to find in such a great location. from the moment we booked Jemma was fantastic to deal with and very welcoming. We had a detailed run down of the property on arrival and the place was very spacious for 8 guests. The property overall exceeded our expectations and the design and landscaping really shone out to us, it has been very well thought out. Amazing stay and we will of course be back!

The perfect home - with everything you need!

We had a great stay at The Darling. Beautiful home and location, with incredibly comfortable beds, the softest sheets, and all the amenities you could need. The outdoor area was perfect for summer dinners. Amber was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Thanks so much for having us!

Stay at the Darling

I had a fantastic stay earlier this year in January at The Darling. The home was beautiful with fabulous interiors and the pool/bbq was where we spent most of our time. The house is situated opposite Rushcutters Bay Park which made for beautiful harbour walks in the morning and is in close proximity to the City and Paddington as well. Amber & the team were very warm, accommodating and professional and I plan on returning very soon! Robert

A Beautiful Stay with Thoughtful Hosts

We had a wonderful stay at The Darling and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The property was exactly as described, beautiful, comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. What stood out most was the communication and hospitality from Amber and the team. They were responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible, which we greatly appreciated. The home was clean, well-equipped, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. The best week ever…

I took my kids to Australia 11/9/7 for an extended spring break from Jackson Hole WY winter. We had the best stay at the Darling. The pizza oven was a huge hit, heated pool, across from the park, easy uber eats for groceries. It was amazing. My boys loved it. And we all loved the amazing sheets, high end finishes and just feeling a little pampered. Highly recommend.

The dreamiest space!

The Darling Heated Magnesium Pool was the perfect location for our commercial campaign shoot. It’s a beautifully curated space with endless opportunities to shoot, relax, or stay. Both hosts were incredibly accommodating — even with a few changes to our shoot schedule — and were consistently responsive and helpful throughout. The property was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with every amenity and detail carefully considered. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d 100% recommend this space and would love to return in the future!
