——The Front Deck——
Our large front deck stretches out looking over a peaceful valley and cool breeze seating for 10 guests to chill and zen out. This is also where we have our fire 🔥 pit, gas BBQ, outdoor shower 🚿 and kiddy wading pool to cool off in the summer!
——Outdoor space——
Guests will also have private exclusive use of our 7 acres of wondering meadows on our land. We have set up a cute outdoor dining area to enjoy eating outside and play equipment for the kids. We have several deer trails that make a nice walk around the property. We also have a wooden picnic table up the hill on our property, past the large rocks. 🪨
——Bedrooms——
We have 2 Cali King Beds using the highest quality mattresses in the bedrooms with fluffy mattresses toppers. We use organic 1000 thread count organic linens handmade in Turkey. Fluffy pottery barn blankets and lots of couch blankets! We have 1 set of bunk beds from pottery barn, solid and sturdy, that sleeps 3 kids comfortably with a trundle. The glamping tent has a queen mattress.
——Linens——
All of our linens, towels, sheets, quilts and blankets are freshly laundered, commercial grade, serviced professionally to the highest standards at Oakhurst Dry Cleaners. They are always the freshest hotel grade cleaned and pressed after every guests stay! This level of cleaning you won’t find anywhere else up here. 🫶
——Bathrooms——
Our two bathrooms have showers and a large soaking tub with shampoo, organic herbal body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We use well water, please use our water sparingly, as California is still in drought and we are trying to do our best to protect Mother Nature. We use a septic system, so please just toilet paper down the loo, and you can dispose of all other items (sanitary pads, tampons, wipes) in the bins provided in both bathrooms.
——Glamping tent——-
We have a large 12 person glamping tent that has a luxe queen size bed, to accommodate two additional guests.
——-Water Conservation——-
We use well water and ask you to conserve water a precious natural resource! Please use our water sparingly. California is in drought, especially up here in the mountains. Our ground water is running at all time lows. We have a water bottles in the fridge for drinking water and we encourage you to use the water system and the large gallons of water provided for cooking.
——Parking——
Our cabin has parking for 4 cars and keyless entry allows for easy check-in. Please feel free to park on the driveway.
——EV charger——
We provide free EV ⚡️charging level 2 wallbox charger, just behind the basketball hoop and solid Wifi for your devices and streaming needs. We also have a Tesla adapter should you need it.
——Pets——-
We are 💯 dog friendly! Up to two pooches 🐶 are welcome. We kindly request a flat $100 pet fee for your pooches extra cleaning costs. Cats 🐱 sadly are not allowed as my husband is hyper allergic to cats. We ask that you kindly keep your four legged friends off the beds or other furniture please 🙏
——No smoking——
There is no smoking indoors or outdoors and please note that, due to extreme fire 🔥 danger in the spring & summer months (May - October), wood and charcoal fires are not permitted by law by Madera County. Smoking at our cabin will result in an additional cleaning fee, (sadly we’ve already had guests break this rule) so please 🙏 do not smoke cigarettes at our cabin. Your lungs will thank you!
