Relax and enjoy the tranquility of our beach front house. It is nestled behind the Sunshine Beach foreshore. A private garden pathway and rolling lawn take you straight down onto the sand from the house. You can hear the ocean crashing from the deck.
The house has many rooms and high ceilings, giving an immense sense of space and peacefulness. There is a private pool and a traditional sauna with a large outdoor bathroom so you can run up from the beach with surfboard in hand or after a morning swim and rinse off ready for the day. There are several surf banks straight out the front of our house where you can enjoy watching or surfing Sunshine’s best breaks. The house has wonderful light and ventilation so summer time it is the perfect airy house to be in for cooling off at the beach or pool and relaxing on the deck.
The style of the house combines unique timber antique furniture featured throughout with the treehouse timber quirkiness of the house. The house was architecturally designed 25 years ago so it certainly is showing its age due to being so close to the salt water! However, we constantly tell ourselves that it is all about 'location, location'.
The ground floor comprises an entertaining area with open plan living dining room. The kitchen, living and dining room all connect to the garden. The house has many areas to retreat to and two TV areas, a study and a reading area so guests can easily have their own space. Two families could easily fit in this house but it can only sleep maximum 8 people. 10 can sleep here but it compromises a living area due to the pull out sofa.
The pool is on the same level as the entry and a small sunny living area where we have a desk and reading space. There is also a separate designated office space if you plan on doing some work whilst on holidays or use it as a yoga area.
The other rooms are upstairs. One has a quiet sunny garden facing deck and a ladder which takes you to a whale watching roof top terrace - gorgeous for late afternoon drinks. The laundry is at the entry level with miele laundry appliances. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a balcony overlooking pool, with ensuite and WIR. There is a floor plan attached so you can easily see the layout of the house. The main bedroom is further away from the other bedrooms for privacy however, the top room has a queen bed if you wish to be closer to kids.
The play room has a pull-out sofa which can be used as a spare room if required. There is also a large second TV in this room. The 7x4m kidney shaped pool is nearby outdoor bathroom and sauna.
North Sunshine has a dog friendly beach too where you can walk to or even further around to Alexander Bay (which is a spectacular beach in the middle of the national park). There are many coastal walks you can enjoy from the house plus an easy stroll to Sunshine village shops where you will find cute coffee shops and the G-store which has all your daily groceries from milk and bread to locally sourced meats and deli goods (and ice-creams for kids).
Bustling Noosa is only a 5-10 minute drive away where you will find many incredible restaurants, bar and coffee shops. The main beach is spectacular with fabulous shopping. The Noosa points usually have great waves for all different levels of surfing. It's always nice to escape back to the privacy and peacefulness of this secluded home. Also, you can walk down to the surf club which is about 200m from our house along the beach for an easy evening out.
There is private car parking for two cars in the driveway. The shared lawn tennis court is centralised in the estate. This can be used anytime.
As we are a family of 5 we have lots of toys (lego and the likes), surfboards, bikes, pool toys, etc. Ask us what you require and I’m sure there will be something we can make available.
Enjoy our home. We love it here and we hope you do to as its a very unique part of the world.

The amenities were not in good condition. However the host did mention that it was an old house and that it was about the location.
