Rebel Hill Lodge is located at one end of our 10 acre property. The main residence and private homestead is located nearby the lodge with a privacy fence separating the two. You have approximately 2 acres of space to yourself with views all round. The property is surrounded by beef, sheep and dairy farms. We offer complimentary use of the shed which includes a bar, wood heater, seating and TV with wi-fi and Netflix. Ample space for parking cars and trailers. Bring your motorbikes or push bikes and take advantage of the lockable shed. Wash bay with pressure washer and warm water is also available for guests to use. Bed linen, towels and firewood are supplied so you can settle in and make yourself right at home.
The lodge is accessed via the driveway entrance where the Rebel Hill Lodge sign is located. Guests are welcome to come and knock on the front door of the homestead, give us a phone call or contact us via messenger.
Rebel Hill Lodge is located in the heart of South Gippsland’s farming community. It’s common to see the local farmers out and about in tractors feeding cattle, cutting and carting hay and silage and much more. Whilst our location is most commonly peaceful and quiet there will sometimes be noise from farming activities. Please give our farmers a friendly wave and take a moment to appreciate all the food they produce for us!
As your hosts we live in the homestead on the property so you may see us heading in and out for work and school during the week or around the other end of the property from time to time.
Please note this is self catering accommodation. The large townships of Leongatha and Mirboo North are a 15 minutes from the drive away.

What an amazing place, photos certainly don’t do full justice to the beauty of this place. Our group had a great time, it was relaxing and had everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay at Rebel Hill Lodge. The property was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived.Nick and Shandal were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts, making us feel so comfortable and looked after throughout our stay. A special mention to Casey, the beautiful and friendly dog who came over to say hello, as well as Flick and Walter, the gorgeous horses that we absolutely loved feeding carrots to – such a lovely experience. The shed area with the bar is an entertainer’s dream and was easily one of the highlights of the property. It was the perfect place to gather at night for drinks, BBQs and games, and was such a fantastic addition to the stay.We couldn’t recommend Rebel Hill Lodge more highly and would absolutely love to return.
Stunning, cozy girls weekend! The property was everything we needed for a girls weekend and more. More than enough space for the 9 of us, we spent the weekend relaxing by the indoor and outdoor fires, feeding the horses, and enjoying the company of David and Casey (sweetest dogs). At night, the bar area was perfect for karaoke, games, and conversation with friends. We were planning to go for one of the many hikes near by but we were so comfortable at the lodge we never left! Shandal was very hospitable, and even lent us some flour for our roast dinner! Highly highly recommend this property as a way to reconnect with friends or have quality time with your family. Would 100% return :)
