It was a very nice, modern home. The owners made everything top notch. It is also very nice that you can park 1 car inside. Only caution is for those travelers with mobility restrictions, you have to go up/down a full flight of stairs to access the home.

Exactly what we were looking for

Clean, tastefully decorated in a modern but still cozy manor. The game room would be amazing for a family, really keep the kids occupied.

The house was amazing! The view of the living room was pretty. some of the houses around the rental were a little dumpy but overall seem like a safe neighborhood. The house itself is decorated really cute. Absolutely loved it. If I was in the area I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect & Peaceful

The house was PERFECT for our anniversary trip to the U.P.! My husband and I loved the modern design and layout, plus all the amenities and thoughtful extras provided by the gracious hosts. Lauri & Sam were wonderful, and it was so reassuring knowing we could reach out to Lauri with any questions or concerns (not that we had any!).The king size bed was SO comfortable, and we loved being just steps from the lake. Walking over to the nearby benches at the end of each day's adventures quickly became a favorite part of our trip.The nearby park and downtown area were charming, and there was so much great food and so many things to do close by in Gladstone and Escanaba. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this rental to any small group looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!
