The host was very responsive, and helped with creating a lovely ambiance for a family celebration. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids. There was lots of room, and the firepit for roasting marshmallows was a nice touch.

Everything was as described and in good condition. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The yard was vast and excellent for our two dogs to get plenty of exercise. We would have loved more sunshine (to use the solarium) during our stay, but that’s out of everyone’s control!

We had a lovely visit. Bugs are the reason for low ratings. Pros: Great kitchen, dining area, and living area. Pool was wonderful, but …Cons: The pool’s ‘shallow end’ was 4 feet deep, so young kids were unable to stand up and play in the pool. This should be noted in house description. There was an infestation of lady bugs (bi-annual owners said). They were all over, dead and alive. Other bugs as well, dead flies, crawling things. Unpleasant.

Hi Jane, We appreciate your feedback. We are sorry about the lady bugs and soy beatles. Unfortunately with a south facing house with big windows and be surrounded by farms the bugs seek the warmth in fall and spring. We never quite know when they will appear but they are harmless. We do treat the house regularly but can only do so at specific times to be most effective. You visited during a bit of a warm spell, and I was not willing to treat the house so close to your visit. Had we known they were bothering you we could have come and dealt with the situation. As for the pool, we’ll update our description but none the less hope you were able to enjoy it. It’s such a treat to be able to swim in warmth year round. Thank you again for choosing us for your stay.

Un endroit de rêve!!! Beaucoup de place. Nous étions 14 et nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Il y avait même des raquettes, des ski de fond, des traîneaux, un dvd et des films, jeux vidéos, téléviseur intelligent, des livres…. Nos ados ont adorés la piscine avec tous ses jouets gonflables. Je vous le recommande fortement!

The property is on a large 15 acre land with abundant natural beauty. We have a gorgeous pond, 5 stunning willow trees, and an ever growing garden that helps anyone find quiet, peace and relaxation. The property is here to bring families and friends together. The pool is year round and provides fun for any type of event. The decor is warm and attentive. We care about your stay and worked very hard to create a space that you will want to come to again and again.
