For 70+ plus years this property was home to our family and now we are sharing it with the world. The home has been updated and you will find that it is well appointed with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, ample space for relaxing in front of the fire or in the living room, as well as a beautiful yard for your summer outdoor enjoyment.
Like to golf? There are complimentary putter and wedge (right handed) and ample green space to practice your short game. A 3 minute drive and you are at Civilia (formerly Lacarya) golf course, with two other courses within a 30 minute drive.
Golfing not your thing? How about fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting or the many other outdoor activities that you can find in beautiful BC? All of this and more right in our area, believe it or not.
Wells Gray Park is home to 41 named waterfalls, see how many you can find. There are numerous trails to hike, and adjacent to the Park, you can explore Candle Creek Trail system which welcomes hikers and bikers alike.
Want a more serene and relaxing day? Curl up in one of our outdoor chairs and enjoy some quiet time in the sunshine, or grab your friends/family and head for Dutch Lake for a swim.
Winter is also a beautiful time to visit Clearwater. Helmcken Falls access is maintained year round, so you can visit and see the spectacular ice-cone, or snowshoe in to Spahats to see a smaller version. Cross country ski trails are maintained at Candle Creek and in Wells Gray Park. Like to snowmobile? We have ample room for parking trucks and trailers. Want to venture a little further afield? Try Sun Peaks for a fantastic ski day. World renowned and loved by the Aussies (to name a few), Sun Peaks is home to great snow, 3 mountains and lots of trails for all levels. Sun Peaks also has a fantastic village, so you can spend the entire day there and arrive back at your rental, exhausted, fed and reliving your day on the slopes.
We have provided board games, a small foosball table, pickleball gear and add other stuff from time to time - all for your enjoyment.
