Delightful Home near Downtown and the Man of War Trail

Very cozy, clean, nicely appointed cottage across the street from a park. It is also within walking distance of downtown and a block off the Man of War Trail. The host thought of everything a guest might need, and some things that are rarely seen like Kleenix tissues, napkins, Ziploc bags, aluminum foil, and packaged snacks. There were plenty of dishes, cups, and silverware, and a beautiful set of new pots/pans to use for cooking.We recommend eating at Mable's. The service was friendly and efficient with large portions of freshly cooked delicious food. We also enjoyed the Pine Mountain Kitchen which serves coffee and ice cream. The beans are at very tasty roast which the owner has shipped in. The coffee was smooth and warm. We also had a frappe which was cold and refreshing, but not full of crushed ice.

The living room furniture, although very pretty, was not comfortable. I would suggest adding a recliner. My husband is elderly and needed to elevate his feet, which was a problem. Also suggest grab bars in bathroom tub and walk in shower. The heat did not keep the house very warm. Had it not been for the electric fireplace we would have been uncomfortable.
