Welcome to La Maison De Gerbaix!
I live in this large villa with my husband. I am an ambassador for my region and that is why welcoming you will be my pleasure!
I will take care of you so that your stay is as pleasant as possible.
Breakfast is included in the room price.
I can also cook you excellent homemade dishes and desserts if you feel like it. To be agreed together before your arrival -> ask for the menu card!

The villa is located in the countryside next to Lake Aiguebelette in the Chartreuse massif.
It is close to Chambéry (20 minutes), Aix les Bains and Annecy (30 minutes),
It is 1 hour from cities like Lyon, Grenoble and Geneva and from most ski resorts.
The parking lot is free.
You will have a large space just for you on the first floor with two bedrooms, 1 of which with balcony, a relaxation area with library, a large bathroom with WC. Everything is tastefully furnished. Exposed beams, original paintings, brightness and exceptional view, you will certainly appreciate the calm and silence of the place.

Private spaces:
The first bedroom includes a 140 x 190 bed, an armchair, plenty of storage space and a balcony with a table and 2 chairs.

The second bedroom also has storage space and is modular:
- bedroom with 2 beds of 80 x 190
- bedroom with 1 bed of 80 x 190
- bedroom with 1 large bed of 160 x 190.

Shared spaces: living room, dining room, kitchen, garden, terraces.

A little desire for hiking? I will be able to advise you thanks to my in-depth knowledge of the trails and my experience. I will provide you with plans, maps and guides.

Excellent stay in a small village

Gerbaix is tiny. <500 population. Possibly as many cows, which we enjoyed watching from our private terrasse during our afternoon apéros. The views are both local grazing areas and distant mountains.

Magali and Jean Jacques are probably two of the kindest, most welcoming people I have ever met on my travels! We travelled with 2 nervous rescue dogs so I'm always a little anxious on arrival but they immediately put our mind at ease and even made it possible so we could leave our dogs for a few hours so we could enjoy the lake with our son. The review would be positive just for the hosts alone but when you also add the accommodation, views, and of course d'Aiguebelette-le-Lac into the mix, it was an amazing trip for us. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome and calm!

Wir haben uns in Gerbaix sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten in dieser Unterkunft Familienanschluss mit Hündin Daphne, einer charmanten Golden-Retriever Hündin und haben gemeinsam mit unseren sehr netten Gastgebern gefrühstückt und sehr gut zu Abend gegessen. Das Schlafzimmer mit Balkon bietet einem traumhaft schönen Blick auf die Berge. Die Räumlichkeiten sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und alles ist sauber. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien à Gerbaix. Nous étions en famille avec notre chienne Daphné, une charmante chienne Golden Retriever, et nous avons pris le petit déjeuner et un très bon dîner avec nos hôtes très sympathiques. La chambre à coucher avec balcon offre une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Les locaux sont aménagés de manière fonctionnelle et tout est propre.

Nous étions quatre : deux adultes et deux enfants. Magali et Jean Jacques sont remarquables. Ils étaient disponibles, bienveillants et au petits soins pour nous. Quelle jolie decouverte L'Isere , belel suprise dans le cadre d'un mariage. Nous avons sejourne chez magali et son conjoint durant ce sejour. Nous avons ete super bien accueilli, le contact sest fait tout naturellement. Notre sejour correpond totalement a lannonce :) le calme, la vue .... toutes les conditions etaient reunies.
