About this property

Stay-belle - farm stay in Collector

Cabin farm stay! Bbq on the large deck overlooking our paddocks where horses & kangaroos graze.

Sit relaxed by the fire pit & stargaze the night away.

Only 40 mins from Canberra, 5 mins off the Federal Highway, Collector. Perfect for a night or few away!

1 bedroom with comfortable queen bed, practical kitchen with basic supplies. Bbq & firepit.

We have our own friendly pets, yours will be considered.

Our property is an old vineyard, where we still have a small patch of Shiraz growing (not harvested).

Now horses, chooks, and native wildlife including lots of kangaroos and occasional deer roam. Experience waking up in the Australian bush where kookaburras, cockatoos and other parrots sing their morning songs.

Stay-belle is located next to our stables, situated in a sunny position overlooking our paddocks to take full advantage of the views!

Travelling with horses, stable stalls or paddocks overlooked from your cabin, can be provided. Please email to discuss your requirements and rates.

Foldout sofa double bed, bedding & linen available for extra guests $30 p/n.

You are welcome to pat our friendly horses, dogs and cats! Complimentary carrots provided to feed the horses.

We make a variety of produce on our little farm, you will be provided farm fresh eggs from our hens, honey from our hives, and a welcome bottle of mead! (seasonal)

Firewood, kindling, fire lighters provided for you to light a fire in our beautiful, cosy firepit. Marshmallows also provided to toast over the fire.
Other things to note
- Bush fire warnings and weather dictate use of firepit. You must comply with local fire regulations, general safety considerations (including observing total fire bans). If it is windy, guests must not light a fire under any circumstances. Host reserves final decision.
- Smoking/vaping on deck and pebbled area only and please dispose of butts in the ashtray provided.
- Our pets, livestock and wildlife would appreciate your attention but please respect their boundaries.
- We rely on solar power, rain water and gas bottles. Please be mindful of usage.
- Limited phone and internet service available.
