About this property
The Starry Chalet
Welcome to the Starry Chalet! Our family-friendly mountain retreat nestled at Sasquatch Mountain. This cozy and inviting chalet is the perfect spot for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the outdoors. We’re excited to share our place with you as first-time Airbnb hosts and set it up with care so you feel at home.
The fully stocked kitchen has all the basics you need, from a Keurig for your morning coffee to a variety of spices for your favourite meals. You’ll also find thoughtful extras like crockpot and a raclette set—perfect for after a day of adventure. Please plan ahead and bring enough groceries and supplies for your stay. There are no regular services on the mountain, such as a grocery store.
The patio is perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air. It features a comfortable sectional and dining area for outdoors meals and a BBQ.
The warm living space is filled with games and books for all ages, making it easy to unwind in front of the wood-burning fireplace (wood is provided) or step outside to relax in the private hot tub. Enjoy a large smart TV and the high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the property to keep you connected during your stay.
The chalet has two bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs and one bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor. Lots of beds for everyone.
Guest access: Guest have access to the entire home with exception of a locked garage and storage space.
Winter conditions: Sasquatch Mountain is a true mountain destination. From October 1 to April 1, winter tires and carrying chains or traction devices is mandatory. The road to the top is mostly gravel, it is very steep with hairpin turns. Please plan ahead and check the conditions before your trip so your journey is safe.
Parking: Please only park in front of the house. Parking on the side is not permitted due to the heavy amount of snow that can accumulate and fall in that area from the roof—it’s for your safety and to keep access clear.
Power outages: Being in a remote mountain are means that the power may occasionally go out. To keep things comfortable, our chalet is equipped with a backup generator that will automatically kick in if the power goes out.
House rules: Please remember that this is our family’s home, and we ask that it be treated with the same care and respect you would your own. Parties, large gatherings are not permitted. Quiet time from 11pm to 7am.
No pets due to allergies.
No smoking.
