Just a five minute walk down the road from Brisbane Skytower is the heritage listed City Botanical Gardens, with stunning nature walks and beautiful scenery. While immersed in the tranquil beauty of these gardens you can easily forget you are just minutes from the City Centre.
If you are looking for some excellent dining experiences, Eagle Street Pier has some of Brisbane’s finest dining restaurants and is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Skytower. With outstanding culinary options, and superb views over the Brisbane River and toward the famous Story Bridge, you won’t leave Eagle Street Pier disappointed.
An alternate option, slightly more relaxed but of equal quality and beauty, is the Southbank Dining District, only a 10-20 minute walk or drive away across the Brisbane River, with excellent restaurants and dining options and suitable for the whole family.

Alternatively, sit back and relax while you take the Brisbane Airtrain from straight outside the terminals at Brisbane Airport, and after a brief 40 minute transit, you will have arrived at Central Station, from where Brisbane Skytower is a nice and easy ten minute walk.
Getting Around:
If you hired a car Avis and Budget drop off is just next door.
GoCard is the local way to use public transport.
CityCat is an easy way to travel up and down the river.
Uber is a very convenient way to move around town
