This house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. There were common spices, ziploc bags, aluminum foil, and even an Instant Pot. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was eclectic. It's a 3 minute walk to the metro with a 10ish minute ride into DC if you aren't changing lines, and less than half a mile to a grocery store. The team was quick to respond, kind, and helpful when we had questions.

Very nice townhouse: clean, VERY comfortable beds, washer/dryer, 2 full bathrooms, good amount of space, 3 minute walk to metro. I booked this location due to the number of beds available, W/D onsite, and close proximity to the metro. And because of this we were comfortable staying at this location. A few items of note... The 'library' with a pull-out sofa bed I was expecting to use. We did not use it because all the other bedrooms were upstairs and the library was downstairs at the back of the house with an outside door. I was not comfortable with having one of my kids that far from us in a room with outside access. Because of this one of my kids ended up using a cot (which we brought) in one of the other upstairs bedrooms. The 'library' sleeping area might be okay for an older teenager or adult. The parking spot is tight! We had a full size SUV and it is a miracle we were able to squeak it in there with the hood of the SUV tucked under the back deck. The neighborhood is not great...basically no decent restaurants within walking distance, lots of closed/boarded up business on the main street. It was hard to find a store within walking distance that had milk...(finally found an open grocery store 2 blocks past the metro). This VRBO is good if you want a nice place that is close to the metro.

we’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable beds, spacious home, and convenient access to the Metro. We love our vibrant, diverse neighborhood! For future guests planning their stay, there is a Safeway approximately a 6–7 minute walk from the house and an organic market about a 10-minute walk away. There are highly rated restaurants and bars within a 5–10 minute walk, and many more within 15–20 minutes. Google Maps is helpful for exploring nearby options, and we’re always happy to share directions and local recommendations. The library’s sofa bed offers an additional sleeping option downstairs. Two inflatable mattresses are available upon request for guests who prefer to keep children closer to them upstairs. The designated parking space can be snug for larger SUVs, so please contact us about arranging street parking if needed. Thank you again for staying with us.
