Grasmere Lodge is a newly renovated one-bedroomed fruit pickers cottage from the early 1900s. Privately situated and enjoying expansive views over the Yarra Valley. Grasmere Lodge is an idyllic spot for you to relax and unwind on our 32 acre hobby farm and just a short hop away from some of Victoria's finest wineries and wedding locations. Experience the joy of sharing the property with alpacas, cows, chickens and wildlife.
One bedroomed property, with queen size bed, has a lounge/dining area and bathroom with heated floor. Due to Council regulations there are no cooking facilities but there is a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
You can access any part of the farm unless there are animals in the paddock or a sign on the gate indicating private property.
Grasmere Lodge is situated on our 32 acre farm and if you need any assistance we are around to help - the easiest way to ask for assistance if you do not see us is to use the Airbnb app. Most guests want to make their own way to the property, use the key safe to access the Lodge and settle in for their stay.
Tucked away in the rolling hills of Victoria's Yarra Valley is Gruyere, a quaint and picturesque village, famed for its strawberry farms. But is has another secret - the stunning, heart of the Yarra Valley golden mile wineries and restaurants. Here visitors to this peaceful, rural location can find some of the finest wines in Australia, plus artisanal cheeses and fresh local produce made into exquisite dishes by superb chefs. Linger a while in Gruyere and sample something special - you won't be disappointed!
There is no public transport to Grasmere Lodge however taxis and Uber does come to this location. Parking is onsite with plenty of space available.
Dogs are welcome at the Lodge however we are surrounded by cattle and have our Alpacas, therefore dogs must be kept on leads when outside.
