Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
- Wash dishes,table and countertops - please leave kitchen tidy.
- Take bagged garbage to garbage cans at road. Ensure lids are put back on garbage cans
-Turn off Water Pump at electrical panel at bottom of stairs-taped switch)
-NatGas valve for BBQ is turned off and covered.
-Cabin is left tidy and clean. Vacuum, Brooms, Cleaning supplies available.
-Lock doors and windows
-Report any damage to Owner.
*Failure to abide by the cabin rules and checkout responsibilities may result in an poor rating or reduction of some or all of deposit.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
-Use only the beds you need
-Follow local fire bans
-Don’t cut trees
-Feel free to use the wood provided; bring extra if needed
-Don’t trespass onto neighbour property or take wood from neighbour
-White towels for inside; beach towels for outside use
-Water and sewer are limited and run on a tank system. Amount of water supplied is determined on typical use per guest. Add’l needs up to guest.

Hi! We are Ila and Mitchell. We enjoy hosting our cabin. It is a special place for us and our kids. A place to escape the busyness of life. We can just relax, take in some water sports, canoe, fish and swim. The morning coffees in the sunroom and sunsets are just so fantastic! We like hearing where people come from that are renting and would love for them to enjoy the pleasures we enjoy with our cabin.
Why they chose this property
Wakaw Lake is such a nice community. We have very nice neighbours, yet our cabin is still quite private with lakefront access. We live about an hour away from our cabin so it makes for a nice easy escape for us.
