About this property
Huge pet & boat friendly house 5 minutes to the port, pub and on the Rail Trail!
If you need a sea change and recharge, don't go past Port Welshpool & our big house on a fully fenced half acre block. There is plenty of room to park your boat and kayaks if you love to head off for a fishing or paddling getaway.
The Rail Trail goes right past the house so if you are a cycling enthusiast this is the house for you. There is plenty of room for your bikes at this house and room enough to rest your legs and replenish after a long day of cycling.
In August-November whale cruises set off from the jetty just a 5 min walk away. You can also stroll down to the Rusty Gurnard for drinks & dinner overlooking the Port's fishing precinct.
Walk along the foreshore with your pooch-we are pet-friendly- and head out on the Long Jetty which has a history like no other.
Or, as many do, take a day trip to the spectacular Wilson's Promontory National Park with its pristine beaches (don't miss the Squeaky Beach experience!). The Prom's panoramic views, & beautiful nature hikes are 45 mins (55km) away and will give you some great memories. Its soaring peaks can be seen across the inlet from Port Welshpool.
We have a gas hob and oven, air-fryer, dishwasher, and plenty of pots, pans, crockery etc if you like to cook at home. There is a coffee machine with some coffee beans - if you are a prolific coffee drinker you will need to bring beans.
The house is BYO linen (towels, sheets, doonah covers). We supply the pillows, protectors and doonah quilts. There are extra blankets if you need them.
If you need there is a fully equipped laundry with washing liquid etc.
