We had a great time at the property. Surrounded by water we fished, took out our kayak, canoe and paddle board for hours of fun. We caught catfish off the bottom, largemouth bass from the boats and even a few shad. It was extremely hot during our reservation and the air conditioning was pushing out much welcomed coolness. Thanks

Decent place for a weekend family.

The house is large and comfortable. The games in the garage are great for entertainment.The river isn't recommended for swimming, but you can fish and use kayaks and paddleboards there. I’m not giving it 5 stars because the beds are extremely uncomfortable; the bunk beds (one) wobble a lot, and the mattresses are too small for the bed frames, the other bunk bed had the bottom bed resting directly on the floor; it had no legs. In the master bedroom, the bed is very low and the mattress is extremely thin—so much so that it sinks down even more while sleeping and you feel yourself sleeping on the bed frame / boards. All beds are extremely uncomfortable with thin mattresses. The kitchen could be better stocked as well; the house sleeps 12 and there were 5 mugs. On top of this, most of the plates are broken/chipped.Overall, we had a lovely weekend with the family, but I would recommend upgrading the beds.

Very Dirty & Disappointing

This was by far the dirtiest house I’ve ever stayed at. We ended up washing all the sheets and towels upon arrival. Found candy wrappers and an acrylic nail in the beds. Towels all looked dirty. Could see shoe tread marks in the bathroom area carpet. Washed those too. Island was sticky, window sills also very dusty. Smudge marks on glass sliding doors. Outsode grill area had leftover food from prior occupants & beer cans littered in back. Candy wrappers /candy stuck in shag area rugNeeds maintenance. One of curtain rods hanging, one of chairs w leg extremely bent. We notified owners.House manager offered to come clean but by that time we had done it all. We asked for wash clothes as none at property & blow dryer too. Both showed up a day after they were told would arrive. The house is newer and overall nice house w river wrapping around it with provides great views & relaxing atmosphere, but the cleanliness honestly ruined our stay.
