Cabin is beautiful with a wonderful lake view, Elena the host was very communicative, was a great stay for the family house was fully equipped with everything you need!
Cute cabin with lots of room for 6 of us adults. Great lake for fishing and kayaking, cabin had games and puzzles and books and lots of character. The host was readily available to answer any questions we had.
Elena was a terrific host! She was quick to respond to any questions and we really appreciated her reaching out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Her cabin is well stocked with cozy comforts and it felt like a home away from home. We stayed over the winter holidays and the snowy beauty of Lake Hawkins did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back to Cariboo!
We had a fantastic stay. We were attending a wedding at a resort nearby and did not get to enjoy all the property has to offer as much as we would have liked, but the water front was amazing, I wish we had a chance to use that fire pit, and all the games and movies on hand were great. It comfortably fit two couples and a single adult... The glass bedroom and bathroom made things a little bit interesting. Thankfully the well stocked kitchen came with tape and some newpaper for extra privacy. The only negative would have to be the stairs - please consider stair treads. Beware those stairs in stocks. Unfortunately someone from our party slid down the flight and has a very bruised cheek to remember it by. Bruises aside, we would absolutely stay here again! Our dog never wanted to leave.

Hi Ryan,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear you had a fantastic stay and it sounds like your dog had a wonderful vacation too!
We're very sorry to hear about the fall on the stairs and hope your friend has made a full recovery. Our guests' safety is our top priority, and after receiving your feedback we installed non-slip grip strips on the stairs to help improve traction and make them safer for future guests.
We're glad to hear that, despite the mishap, you would stay with us again. We hope you'll find the time to visit our cabin again so you can fully enjoy everything the property has to offer. We'd love to welcome you back!
