Absolutely do NOT stay here. Choosing this vrbo single handedly ruined our trip. When we got to the airport and gave the taxi our address drivers looked confused. I had been sent a directions link but it didn’t go to the correct location. Our taxi driver was kind and spent 20 extra minutes driving in circles asking multiple locals if they recognized the address, no one did. He asked another person, who turned out to be our host. When the driver explained he was searching for a house number, the host rudely said This is Aruba and shrugged. There is no visible address on the house, which makes it extremely difficult to find. Things only got worse. When we tried to go out that evening, the taxi number the host gave us said he was 7 minutes away. We waited 50 minutes in the dark, hungry, repeatedly texting, only to be told he couldn’t get a taxi to us. The host’s solution? Walk 30 minutes in pitch black in a new country. There aren’t rideshare apps, so taxis are the only option. The next day, the taxi contact never responded. We had to walk down a muddy sand road to make our excursion reservation. That night we were promised pickup again, it never happened. Another taxi agency also couldn’t find the address. During our 2 night stay, we couldn’t go out at night at all because of this terrible location. The shower never got hot, and there were no washcloths. If you want to enjoy a vacation don’t stay here. NOT a 200/night experience so mad! Construction site outside its not nice
