Nestled at the heart of the lake in Leeds and the Thousand Islands, we are 2.5 hours from Toronto, 1.5 hours from Ottawa and 30 minutes from Kingston.
Direct access to Grippen Lake with a private dock, serenity awaits you at our lakehouse. Enjoy views of the lake from the wraparound deck or relax by the dock where you can enjoy boating, swimming and fishing.
The space
The Space:
Our newly renovated lakehouse boasts over 2000 square feet of living space, providing ample room for relaxation and recreation. With 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and the capacity to accommodate up to 10 guests, it's the perfect space for families or friends to create lasting memories. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen and inviting dining area, ideal for shared meals and gatherings. Please be advised that there is no air conditioning however there are fans in every room.
Outdoor Bliss:
The wraparound deck is the perfect place to unwind. It offers breathtaking views of the lake and a front-row seat to stunning sunsets. Down by the water's edge, you can take advantage of complimentary kayak and canoe use for a day of leisurely exploration on Grippen Lake. For fishing enthusiasts, Grippen Lake is home to a diverse range of fish species, promising a rewarding angling experience. The lake has no public access and is yours to enjoy.

If you're looking to explore beyond the lake, you're in luck. We're conveniently situated just a 15-minute drive from Rock Dunder, a fantastic hiking spot that offers breathtaking panoramic views, particularly during the fall season. Additionally, Charleston Lake Provincial Park is a mere 20-minute drive away, offering a beautiful beach area and an extensive network of hiking trails, including a vantage point from the highest peak in the county.

Guests will have access to the entire property , fire pit and the water toys including canoes and kayaks.
Other things to note
* Pet-Friendly: We welcome furry friends to join your stay; however, we kindly request that pets do not access furniture or beds for the comfort of all guests.
* No Parties: Please respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are strictly observed from 10:00 PM onwards. In the event of any disturbances reported by our neighbors, guests may be required to vacate the premises and will be held responsible for any associated fines.
* Provided Necessities: Your comfort and convenience are important to us. We supply essential items such as toilet paper, paper towels, aluminum foil, linens, towels, and basic cooking supplies. For personal use, please remember to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bug spray, and sunscreen.
* Garbage Disposal: We kindly ask that guests carry out their trash upon checkout. The nearest waste removal facility is a 15-minute drive away, and we will provide you with the necessary garbage tags. On Sundays, please be aware that waste removal sites are closed. If you are unable to transport your garbage, we can discuss a $50.00 removal fee for your convenience.
