Only 900 meters from the Waitomo Caves Village and two minutes from the Glow Worm Caves, this 20s-era train accommodation is located at this unique glamping property in Waitomo, New Zealand. Built in 1918, this train is beautifully refurbished into a completely self-contained holiday rental that is situated on 10,000 acres of farmland, with both farm animals and bird life adding to the stunning scenery.
The train can sleep up to five people, with a double bed in one room and three single beds in the adjoining room. There is an ensuite bathroom, which has a shower and a toilet, and there is also a living room area, where guests will find a kitchenette. The kitchenette has an electric hob, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Glampers can enjoy meals out on the private deck and enjoy the abundant natural light from the many windows that this train has to offer.
On this stunning property, there is a restaurant and bar as well as a unique stage arena for shows and music. Facilities also include private ensuite bathrooms, self-contained kitchens, non-smoking rooms, Wi-Fi in public areas, and wedding/banquet/event facilities. Each unit has designated parking.
