Cozy Winnipeg Retreat
This is a cozy beautiful basement suite.The living area is beautifully furnished, providing a cozy space to spend quality time with family or enjoy your favorite movies and TV shows on a TV equipped with Netflix and YouTube. Guests also have access to a stylishly appointed kitchenette fully stocked, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, plates, cups, and utensils for both adults and children. A coffee maker is available, along with complimentary coffee, cream, sugar, tea, and hot chocolate. The dining area features a charming table with two comfortable chairs, perfect for enjoying your meals or a relaxing cup of coffee.
The 2 bedrooms have comfortable brand new beds and mattresses and end table, to ensure our guests have a good sleep like they do at home. Each bed is arranged to sleep 2 guests.
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed with closet space and hangers
Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed with closet space and hangers
The bathroom is neat and equipped with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and cleaning/hygiene materials for guests convenience.
Free washer and dryer are in the building for guests with stay longer than 5 days. An iron and hair dryer is in the suite should you require one.
The house has central air-conditioning and heating to keep you cool in the summer months and warm in winter.
There is a security camera facing the driveway, doorbell, and a camera at the side door. They will be on during your stay. This is for security purposes only. There are no cameras in the house or the basement suite.
Free parking is provided on the street.
This is a no-smoking, no partying, and no pet suite.

I had to reach out the day of check-in for entry code. Previous renting host contacted me. Otherwise host replied in reasonable time with questions. Rooms clean but no other cleaning done. We had a six night stay and no sweeping or vacuuming done. All living room furniture way too low to the floor. Beds and pillows too hard. We went out and bought new pillow. Asked for another and told that's all there is. Good location for our needs. Needs more blankets. Had to ask more than once to turn down air conditioning. Only one tea towel, no dish cloth. No bathroom hand towel. Only 3 bath towels. Had to ask for fresh ones for 6 day stay. We had to put in laundry basket and bring to upstairs door and then once washed and dried they were returned. Asked to strip beds before leaving and take out garbage and recycling. Suggest Keurig coffee maker. Bought our own coffee. Noise upstairs late into evening. Clock on wall but not working. Needed battery. Stated blow dryer, there wasn't one. No iron. On street parking hard to find parking spot. Had to park on side street at times. Cement block pathway with gravel in between to enterance so cannot roll suitcases. Rating said 10. I would disagree.

We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our listing includes a range of amenities, including a hair dryer, iron, additional blankets, hand towels, dish cloths, and other household essentials. If any of these items were not immediately located or if anything was missing, we would have been more than happy to provide assistance had we been informed during your stay. Similarly, we keep additional linens available upon request, and we're always happy to help whenever guests let us know what they need.
Regarding the entry code, this was sent before your check-in time. We ensured the property was ready and sent the code before your check-in time. We also accommodated requests for fresh towels during your six-night stay, even though our standard practice for shorter stays is to provide enough towels for the duration unless additional ones are requested.
As for parking, our listing accurately notes that parking is on the street, which is generally available but can occasionally be busier depending on the time of day. We're committed to providing a great experience for all future guest.
