This was such an enjoyable trip. The house was fantastic, clean and the beds are so comfortable. It was cozy and within walking distance to all fall activities. My golden retreiver came with us and he also enjoyed it. I would and will definitely be staying here again.

Was in town to ride RZRs for the weekend. Perfect little spot in town to stay. Close to gas stations and restaurants, but easy to get out of town to hit the trails!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed the hot tub. We enjoyed all of the wildlife that we saw, especially the hummingbirds and the elk that casually grazed under the back porch. The maps of all the hiking trails was pretty nice too. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we will definitely be back again

Cabin was small, but cute. Great location. Right across the street from all of the shops and restaurants in the little village/town. Bathrooms could use some updating. Overall was a great time and experience for us. Would recommend it.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the cabin's location and overall experience. Your suggestion regarding the bathrooms is noted. We value your recommendation and hope to see you again.
Closer neighbors than I expected. Not that it was in any way a problem, just the camera angles were carefully chosen.

Liked: Location
Long weekend
2 complaints and 1 praise: Teenagers LOVED the S’mores station! Back deck and furniture is FILTHY/ I washed and filled the hummingbird feeders that were sticky and moldy. Entirely TOO MUCH decor and every cabinet and shelf filled with household items. No room to put our personal belongings.

Thank you for your feedback. We're thrilled that the teenagers enjoyed the S’mores station. We apologize for the condition of the back deck and furniture, as well as the state of the hummingbird feeders. Your comments about the decor and storage space are noted, and we'll work to improve these aspects.
Cabin was nice with very comfy beds and a nice covered deck. Decorating was a little overboard with a heavy bear theme, but adequately-sized for a small number of occupants. “Fenced” backyard needs work to contain a large dog unsupervised. Wildlife (deer, elk, skunks, birds, etc.) frequently move through the neighborhood. Hot tub on the back porch was a nice touch. The cabin is in a nice location, within easy walking distance to “downtown” Cloudcroft, which includes several eating establishments and great bakeries. Many hiking trails nearby. Amazingly enough, despite its size, Cloudcroft does not really have a grocery store, per se, so better to bring your own or stock up in Alamogordo before coming up the hill. Very minor and expensive “groceries” are for sale at the local convenience store (Allsups).

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're glad you enjoyed the comfy beds and covered deck, and appreciated the hot tub and convenient location near food spots and trails. We value your feedback on the backyard fencing and decoration theme, and will consider improvements. Your tip about grocery shopping ahead is helpful for future guests. We hope to welcome you back soon!
