Cycling the Shimanami Kaido? You need a comfortable place to recharge! Try out our newly renovated rustic full-timber 2 bedroom cottage with full-size Cal-king beds, Hinoki wood bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, King sofa bed in living room for extra 2 pax., blazingly fast fiber internet, and air conditioning during summer. We are just 250m from the inland sea and a slipway, with 3 sea kayaks for you to discover a nearby pirate island (real pirates called Murakami Kaizoku used to live there). Great snorkeling and picnics on the secluded beach. This cottage is set in the quaint traditional village of Amazaki, just a few minutes from the Omishima Cycling Oasis and local rental bikes. Omishima island itself is the mid point on the Shimanami Kaido cycling course and is the most convenient place to stay. Citrus orchards, a strawberry farm, a nearby temple, mountain hiking, kayaking, and a small friendly local community make this a relaxing place to stay.
