Welcome to Royal City Retreat, a cozy and family-friendly stay in the heart of New Westminster. Guests enjoy private access to the upper two levels of our home, featuring 3 comfortable bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and a large covered deck perfect for relaxing or dining outdoors.

The home includes free Wi-Fi, smart TV, laundry facilities, quality linens, complimentary breakfast essentials, and free street parking. Ideal for families, couples, business travelers, and groups visiting Metro Vancouver.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, you’ll be just minutes from parks, shops, restaurants, transit, and local attractions, with easy access to Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and beyond.

Please note that our family lives in a separate self-contained suite on the lower level of the property. Guests have a private entrance and exclusive use of all listed guest spaces. As this is a shared property, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise, particularly during quiet hours.

We had a plumbing issue. Hopefully it has been dealt with by now. They responded to my alert, and we decided to let it go until we left the next day. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. If you are single or a couple, you can do everything you need on the main floor. There are stairs to climb, both inside and out. I would not recommend for elders, especially the indoor stairs. Two bedrooms are upstairs. I would not want to be negotiating those stairs at night for a bathroom visit. There are televisions everywhere.The patio is well equipped, and nicely done. The indoor laundry room is spacious and well equipped, including modern front loading machines. The kitchen is nicely done with newer, modern appliances. Cupboards are well stocked with dishes, flatware, kitchen tools, paper goods, cleaners, etc. It has a nice, modern refrigerator. One could easily avoid restaurants here, with some home cooking. Formal dining seats 6. .

Me and my family (6 adults and 1 child) stayed for 6 nights in Edina’s property. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay there. The property is a whole house with 3 levels. But only the upper 2 levels are for guest’s use. It has 3 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa bed. So, it comfortably fit all of us. One downside though is that it has only 1 bathroom. Not a deal breaker. We just have to be mindful on our use of bathroom time. The entire house has centralized AC. So, the summer heat outside is not a problem inside. Edina was very responsive to our queries and concerns. She even brought us a brand new rice cooker when we asked for it. The place I think is newly renovated and so it is very clean and well maintained. Kitchen/dining utensils and bathroom toiletries are amply supplied. There’s an outside covered patio/deck where we can chill out and do some grilling. There’s also ample street parking outside. The property is centrally located and traffic there is not too crazy as compared to downtown Vancouver. Price is also reasonable. Would definitely stay here again if I have a chance to visit Vancouver. Kudos and thanks to the host for welcoming us to use their nice property.
