Welcome to our beach cottage! We hope you have a wonderful stay. Please help

us keep the property in excellent condition for future guests by following

these house rules.







**Occupancy & Registered Guests**



Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved in

advance by the owner or property manager.



No parties, events, or large gatherings are permitted.



Commercial activities and events are prohibited without prior written

approval.



Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

**Smoking**



No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the home.



Cigarette butts must be properly disposed of..



Additional cleaning fees may be assessed for smoking violations.

**Pets under 20lbs**



Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval.



Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both inside and

outside the property.



All pet waste must be properly disposed of.



Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture unless protective coverings are

used.



Any excessive pet hair, stains, odors, waste removal, lawn damage, or

additional cleaning required as a result of a pet's stay may result in

additional cleaning or damage fees.



Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.



Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees.

**Beach Equipment**



Beach chairs, umbrella, and beach accessories are provided for guest use.



Please rinse sand from all beach items before returning them.



Return all beach items to the outdoor storage bin after use.



Guests are responsible for missing or damaged beach equipment.

**Sand Policy**



Please rinse off sand before entering the home whenever possible.



Shake out towels, clothing, and beach gear before bringing them indoors.



Excessive sand requiring extraordinary cleaning may result in additional

cleaning fees.

**Outdoor Umbrella**



The patio umbrella must be closed whenever it is not in use.



Guests are responsible for damage caused by leaving the umbrella open during

windy conditions.

**Fire Pit**



Use the fire pit responsibly and at your own risk.



Never leave a fire unattended.



Fully extinguish all fires before leaving the area or retiring for the

evening.



Guests are responsible for leaving the fire pit area clean and ready for the

next guest.



Remove and properly dispose of any ashes, fire logs, debris, and trash

associated with fire pit use.



Additional cleaning fees may be assessed if the fire pit area requires extra

cleaning or maintenance.

**BBQ Grill**



Clean the grill after each use.



Turn off the propane tank after use (propane can be purchased at Ace

Hardware).



Replace the grill cover and utensils when finished.



Guests may be charged for excessive grill cleaning if left in unsanitary

condition.

**Kitchen**



Please use the stove exhaust fan while cooking to help prevent smoke alarms

from activating.



There is no garbage disposal.



Do not pour grease, oils, fats, coffee grounds, or food scraps down the sink.



Please use the sink strainer provided.



Please rinse dishes well before placing them in the dishwasher

**Bathrooms**



Flush toilet paper only.



Do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, cotton swabs,

dental floss, or any other items.



Plumbing repairs resulting from improper use may be charged to guests.

**Laundry**



Do not overload the washer or dryer. Only fill half way and use quick wash

setting.



Shake excess sand from towels and clothing before washing.



Please use appliances responsibly.

**Trash & Recycling**



Bag all trash before placing it in outdoor bins.



Keep bin lids closed at all times to prevent animals from accessing trash.



Follow local trash and recycling instructions provided in the Guest Guide.

Pick up day is Wednesday.







**Smart Home Features**



Alexa and Lutron smart home controls are provided for your convenience.



Please do not unplug, disconnect, tamper with, or alter any smart home

equipment.







**Damages & Maintenance**



Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.



Please report any damage, malfunction, or maintenance concern promptly.



Failure to report damage may result in additional charges.

**Safety**



Children must be supervised at all times.



Use the fire pit, grill, outdoor shower, and all amenities at your own risk.



Guests assume responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their

visitors while using the property and its amenities.

**Check-Out Expectations**







Before departure, please:







Place all trash in designated outdoor bin.



Wash or start the dishwasher with used dishes. (rinse dishes well first)



Return beach equipment to the storage bin.



Clean the grill if used.



Leave the fire pit area clean and ready for the next guest.



Lock all doors and windows.



Turn off lights and appliances not required to remain on.



Put thermostat at 80 F cool setting in summer or 58 f warm setting in winter
