This home in Cornwall was the perfect waterfront retreat. Upon our arrival, we quickly realized the nothing was average about this space- a wow factor followed every turn! The house was fresh, clean, exquisitely decorated - “spa -like.” The grounds are beautifully landscaped and tastefully accented with potted and hanging plants. Large windows and sliding doors ensured that the spectacular view of the water could be enjoyed in almost every room in the house, while the lakeside dock, deck or veranda left us with the option of directly appreciating the water’s edge. The owners have really made practical use of the entire property. With a variety of modern, high quality appliances, dishware and glassware, we had more than we needed for food prep, dining and enjoying our time together as a family. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows and each room provided ample, and very organized closet space. Other features that we didn’t expect but made a difference were motion sensors on the stairs and bathrooms to light the way through the house, automated blinds, organized cabinet and drawer space, soft but effective lights, great setup for an outdoor fire, and comfortable deck chairs. All of our needs were provided for and then some, so five stars really isn’t enough!
