Escape to Long Point, Ontario, for the perfect lakeside getaway. This comfortable 4 season cottage is just steps from the beautiful, sandy shores of Lake Erie and Long Point Provincial Park.
Features a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area, 3 bedrooms, large backyard with a privacy fence and a screened in patio perfect for that peaceful atmosphere.
Whether your relaxing on the beach, grilling on the terrace or chatting by the firepit the opportunities are endless for friends and family alike.
For those that love the fall and winter our cottage is equipped for any weather. Fall fisher? Our driveway is large enough to park a boat on and enjoy the fishing on the bay.
Family's that love to have a Christmas/fall getaway your looking at the right cottage. We have a Christmas tree and enjoy our patio equipped with heater & fire table.

Amazing location, cottage is perfect, and hosts are super responsive. Right by the quiet end of the beach, the bird observatory, and tasty food options. The cottage itself is really nice- open, clean, modern updates and lots of space to cook, lounge, and enjoy outdoor space. No complaints at all.

You do not need to slug your beach chairs and umbrellas, they have them. Just bring a beach blanket. They also have a wagon to pull your stuff to the beach. You do need all your own towels and sheets.The house is very techy, so there are noises, at night, that may startle you. Just bring ear plugs.Otherwise, it is exactly as it looks...beautiful and clean

The cottage was clean, modern, and in a convenient location. However, there was a misunderstanding between the two hosts on which would send us details about the property that were not included in the listing. The listing photos showed made beds, so we were surprised to find guests needed to bring their own sheets. As a result, we had to travel 40 minutes to the nearest town to purchase linens and launder them, which took significant time away from our vacation. It also added unexpected costs.To the host’s credit, they apologized for the miscommunication and indicated they are looking into providing sheets for future guests. We appreciate that response and hope clearer information is provided to guests in the future, so they can plan accordingly.

Thank you, both, for a wonderful stay! Very happy with the property. We came with our family of 8, incl. six kids ages ranging from 17 to 1 year old. Excellent amenities for the fam. Well stocked kitchen and nice large table to serve home cooked meals and a med size BBQ outside. Great coffee set up covering just about everything possible. Although only one bathroom with a large shower, good thinking to have two sinks available and my wife loved the bidet! Thank you for the beach toys for the kids and the fold up cart was most needful for us to carry things to and fro. Maybe the best surprise was the distance to the beach...maybe a two minute slow stroll to get there. Heads up! It is the beach...so there will be some sand to clean up and bugs to spray away at dusk. I'm sure I'm missing things to glow about here.. In fairness, I should add, there was a dog? (or cat?) Idk, in the house lying on the beds. If you have pet allergies, you may want to ask about that. One of my sons had a terrible time with that this week. But, wonderful place! I would encourage you to check it out.

Allow us to introduce ourselves, I'm Barry and Aidan are the owners of our family cottage, don't use the cottage year round so we rent it our for other familys and friends to enjoy the property as we have. It's the cozy getaway everyone would enjoy, we love hosting and enjoy making others feel at home.

Why they chose this property

This is our family cottage, that has been in the family since 1950's. we love the short walk to the beach and the scenery. Bird watching is fantastic and Long Point is a natural UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with great fisihing and long sandy beach to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Our Family cottage has gone through a major reno in 2017, completly upgraded, we added a terrace to the back of our home that is screened in with comfortable patio furniture with fire table/ patio heater. Has a fully renovated brand new beautiful kitchen and appliances with stone top. The bathroom has also gone throough major upgrade with nice tiled in shower with glass doors and double vanity with stone top.
