We stayed during our spring break for 3 nights. Visited Mayland Earth to Sky Park in Burnsville for stargazing at their observatory. During check-in, there was a mix up with the cleaning dates, but the hosts acted very quickly to resolve the issue to our complete satisfaction. It was a great trip, and I highly recommend this property and the hosts for their attention to accommodating us during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Family Launch Pad very much. The location was nice, close to pleasant hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as conveniences like grocery stores, etc. The home is very spacious and comfortable.
Great property! It was clean when we arrived and the set up was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space for 2 families. The host was quick to respond if we had questions. We would definitely stay here again!
Very comfortable home and the beds slept great. There was plenty of house hold supplies including all the bathrooms were fully stocked. The owner had left complimentary bottled water. Would stay here again.
What a great house! 4 bedrooms, 3 with king beds and 3 beautifully remodeled bathrooms. Plus a new kitchen, outdoor grill, gas firepit and hot tub! It had everything we wanted and needed for our family to celebrate Christmas together. It was an amazing bonus that it snowed on Christmas eve giving half of our family their first white Christmas! We had extended family in the area join us for Christmas dinner and managed to get 10 around the table and everyone exclaimed what a beautiful and perfect house it was. Thanks again for the "interesting" and decorative tree and for providing us with BBQ tools when asked. We'd definitely stay here again!
Easy 10 minute drive into downtown Asheville. Beautiful very clean house with plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking Thanksgiving meal a breeze. Loved the fire pit and outdoor hot tub. Would definitely stay at this property again! Owner was very responsive and helpful.
Our group of 8 had a very nice stay at this house. The best part was the patio with it's table and outdoor propane firepit. We definitely made use of the hot tub too. The kitchen had everything we needed. This house is convenient to the BRP and the interstate. We would definitely stay here again.

I am an Asheville native and can answer many questions about this area. I am currently building an RV Park!
Why they chose this property
I chose this property because it feels so private and wooded, but it is sooo close to everything Asheville. It is the best of both and uniquely Asheville.
What makes this property unique
The size of the home, with 3 living rooms! How the outdoors melds seamlessly with the indoors. The wooded lot. The amenities, piano, hot tub, large and small games. It is just a pretty comfortable soothing home.
