Nice condo, dilapidated building, poor customer service
We booked this specific property because it comes with a pontoon (extra fee). I verified my dates were available for the pontoon, booked the condo and then was told to call in the morning to pay for the pontoon rental. When I did that, I was told it was already reserved. When we arrived, I was a little worried. The building look like it has not been taken care of- there were several braces in various places, the entrance is over grown with plants, and there was a large crane beside our window that was a little annoying in the morning. To be fair, maybe they are making updates to the building. Just be aware if you book in the next few months that this is going on. Our condo was absolutely beautiful! We loved the space and it was perfect for our family. The balcony had nice, comfy furniture looking out over the bay. The only problem was the master shower had no hot water. When I messaged the folks to let them know, I was asked to provide them with a picture of the faucet and other information so they could have it fixed AFTER we left. We were told there were no plumbers available. We were offered no solutions whatsoever. Yes, there are 2 showers in the condo. However, I booked the condo so we could have separate showers from the kids. We could have gotten a cheaper place somewhere else with 1 bathroom. I feel like if they were not going to fix it, coupled with the fact that we were not able to rent the boat after I was told it was available, that we should have been compensated in some way. We won’t be back.
