About this property

Live as a local in this just remodeled home located in an XVIII Century building - next to Old San Juan's most famous street: San Sebastian.

The apt. is 15' away from SJU Airport and walking distance to the Cruise Terminals - Highly recommended if you are sailing on a cruise after your stay.

Old San Juan is an enchanted area: full of colored buildings; the Castle "San Felipe del Morro" and forts; typical Puerto Rican restaurants and bars; famous neighborhood "La Perla"; and walking distance to your favorite shops - Marshalls, Walgreens, Gift shops, local shops, etc.

Our building is located just on the north side of Old San Juan, near the most historic fort in the island, El Morro.
The space has been designed to be a comfortable space for you and your guest. The loft includes a Queen bed, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, table and chairs for dining, a full bathroom and a small kitchen. Towels, linens, body wash and shampoo/conditioners are also offered during your stay.

Vacation

The property is pretty and very comfortable. The tall ceilings make the space look and feel larger. We loved staying here. It was fun to feel like we lived in Old San Juan for a moment.

Memorial Weekend trip

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything looks as it does in the pictures. We love the historical features! Everything we needed for our three night stay was there. The location was perfect for us to walk or bike ride to everything in Old Town. It is at the top of the hill, so for those with physical challenges, it could be difficult. Old town is hilly so you would find that anywhere. There were tons of restaurants, evening life, historical landmarks nearby. We found a grocery store two blocks away and coffee right around the corner. There were a couple rain showers so we opened the shutter doors to stand and watch the rain as well as people racing by trying to take cover. We also enjoyed people watching from the same location in the evening. The owners are very clear about this, however, you should not park on the street if you rent a car. Every evening we would watch people park only to see the parking attendant come by and issue tickets. So many tickets on cars when we headed out early every mornings. $250 fine! I really have nothing to complain about but if I could think of a single improvement it would be the shower curtain needs to be moved down so it is within the shower. It’s somewhat useless because all the water pours outside on the floor. We used a towel to soak it up, but seems like a simple fix. It did not affect my stay or my rating.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed staying at this location. The studio setting was perfect. Linen was clean. If I have to remark I would say, when the AC was on we had droplets fall on our heads from the AC as the bed was directly under the unit. Also the water pressure was not the best, water pressure was not strong and the water was cold. Since the shower curtain was not long enough, the floor gets very wet. Maybe new towels would be great besides all this we would recommend it

Convenient spot.

Its walkable to everything. It has a comfy bed and hot water. Can get super noisy thru the night. You'll need earplugs or choose a different place if you want it to be quiet. Otherwise pretty decent.

The hot water was inconsistent. There was not a broom or a mop that I could find. I wish that there were night tables next to the bed.
