About this property
TN River Cabin - Relax, Hunting, Fishing & a Yeti!
Welcome to our Lake House! Get the S`mores ready and bring your whole crew! and watch out for BIGFOOT! Our Family has made some wonderful memories here over the years and want you to as well. This is the perfect place unplug & get some peace & quiet! Perfect for hunting, fishing, and water enthusiasts (boats are welcome but not included, plenty of parking). It is across the street from the Tennessee River & Perryville Marina w a (free) boat ramp. Let the relaxation and/or adventures begin!
Don`t fret about Bigfoot tho, while he stands about 12 ft tall, he`s made of metal and doesn`t move so he`s friendly (haha). Our cabin is a 3-bedroom, 2 full baths with plenty of space for socializing inside and out (large screened in porch). It boasts 1 King Size bed in one bedroom, two Queens in the other, and lastly two bunk beds with a Full and two Twins each (in the kids` room). Also, there is a futon and a couple of couches one of which is a sectional. Honestly, if you don`t mind sleeping on a couch, you can sleep 18 adults comfortably here. Tons of parking available in the private driveway! High Speed internet, three large flat screen Smart TVs and a DVD player. We want our guests to enjoy themselves to fullest while being respectful of our home and themselves! Furry friends are more than welcome as well as long as they are cleaned up after accordingly when they go potty, shed, etc. Woof!
Guests will be given a code to the lockbox as well as all pertinent info for the internet so that they can enter the home and have everything prior to their arrival.
We give our guests privacy during their stay but are available by phone, if needed.
The cabin is by itself for the most part on top of the hill with the Marina and river across the street. Then, there are a couple restaurants / gas station markets close by in case you forget your toothbrush! Then, the city of Parsons is a few miles west as well with has some country cooking restaurants, a delicious Mexican Restaurant, fast food, etc.

Very comfortable place to stay, didnt have any problems with the owner they responded very well! About 30 minutes or so away from the buffalo river loved staying here! Would stay here again.
House was great, we had a work trip to Parsons and since there was no hotel to stay locally we stayed here and really enjoyed it. Imagine this is a great vacation stay.
It could use some updating but clean and an overall great stay.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The house has so much character, they have it decorated in such a fun-loving manner. We didnt have any problems, our entire stay was perfect. It's so secluded and relaxing there. It definitely gets a 5 star rating from our family!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful, everything we wanted to do was a hour trip. From loretta lynn ranch, to nashville to tina turner. So much fun
Came into town for a family memorial celebration. Being from Nashville, with deep roots in this area, staying here just felt like home and we appreciated the hospitality so very much! The Home is rustic, very clean, beds super comfortable and the porches are wonderful! If you are a nature lover you will enjoy this! We certainly did! Would definately stay here again!Horner family

Thank you very much for the kinda words! I’m glad you all liked it! :)
If you are looking for a rustic atmosphere this is the place! We had plenty of space for all of us. The screened in porch was an excellent place to place cards. Had an excellent time with sisters.

Norma was great! She was very easy to work with and respectful of our home.
I didn’t spend a ton of time at the cabin because I was at a writers conference. The Internet was out which wasn’t the owners fault, so the four stars is not out of spite, but honesty. It did affect my mornings. The screened side porch was my fave! The cabin was neat and clean and exactly what I needed to crash at. The owner was quick to respond to my messages and never rude. Really enjoyed my stay!
We stayed in this property the last two Fourth of July weekends and made great memories with friends and family. The location is great. There is a lot of space for indoor and outdoor entertainment. We love it here. You will too!
Don’t waste your money on this rental. Pictures are deceiving. Very dirty! We had to clean for 2 hours after we got there before we put any of our stuff away. The outside was very unkempt. This place needs a lot of maintenance and care.

While I think my cleaning crew dropped the ball on a couple of things, which is why I let them know immediately and offered to send them back out, the other things were a bit off. We still use the cabin regularly, which I guess you weren't aware of the "sharing" our home, which is why there were condiments in the refrigerator and bathroom supplies in the bathroom. Our cabin is in the middle of the woods on 5 acres and we let the trees be trees so I guess the outside and yard is unkempt... there is still plenty of open space to walk around and get in the house. Pictures are deceiving...? I took the pics myself with a Canon camera with no filters and all the items in the pics are there so I don't know what you mean there at all. We love our cabin and have a dozen other guests that come every year bc they love it too. I'm sorry you didn't like it but this is a first for us bc we have great reviews across the board on other platforms. Be well. Wes

Great for fishing rendezvous with friends from all over - close to marina and c-stores. Will use again. Cooking provisions (pots & pans) could be better; all other kitchen needs were okay.

Clifford was great! He was very easy to work with and respectful of our home.
We stayed for a Christmas getaway with our teens. Place was clean and in a nice quiet location with plenty of space for a family with all the amenities of being at home. The renter was very quick to respond to a message when we needed some assistance. We will have to return in the warm months so we can explore the outside adventures the area has to offer.
Long time Nashville native (via West Tennessee), world traveler, outdoor enthusiast and most importantly family first! I have seen Nashville grow into one of the greatest places on earth! I love to spend time with my family and friends. Also, I LOVE live music and try to take in all the shows I can!
Why they chose this property
Our cabin provides the perfect getaway for anyone who loves the outdoors or just needs some quiet time. Our family has really enjoyed it over the years as we were growing up and we continue to enjoy it today with our kids. It is very secluded and private with the nearest small town city of Parsons being about 8 miles away.
