This is not a luxury accommodation but its close to village, village gondola, and Shuttle bus stop. Certainly outdated but it did what we needed and the water was hot. I would return.

Great stay for the price
Great location and parking however very old furniture and amenities which matches the pricing. The queen size bed mattress needs replacing, very uncomfortable. Good budget friendly option next to the village.

It's Okay
I was surprised when I saw the good price for such a conveniently located property. When I got to the place, saw the furniture, fridge and the state of the cookware I understood why. Our group didn't find it as terrible as some other reviewers, especially considering the price at the convenient location. I wish they at least updated the appliances and cookware, that shouldn't break the bank. If I remember correctly, the group's consensus was that we would stay there again, just because of the good price considering the location.

We have passed your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make the necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!
Exactly as pictured. Snowed in so not easy access to the bridge. Needs a few fixes and few items but overall comfortable and clean. Really wish they used Mammoth Rentals instead of Vacasa. Vacasa is not nice nor responsive. I will only rent from Mammoth Rentals in the future, have always had a great experience with their team and responsiveness.

Bad experience
The house is in very bad shape. Furniture is broken. Heaters are noisy. The heather in the bathroom does not work. The light in the bathroom does not work. The home instructions does tell you how to turn on the fireplace, and it is impossible to find it until you are able to contact the management after several calls the after our arrival. Also the house had dust everywhere. Bad experience, never more reservations there.

NIGHTMARE
Disgusting, Deplorable, Dirty and poorly maintained. Worst property I have ever rented. Stained carpet, broken and torn 1975 furniture, burn holes in couch, missing smoke detectors, charcoal ash FILLED bbq with cigarette butts, soiled crusty wash cloth on dresser next to bed, TV cable not working, gas fireplace not functioning properly, downstairs bathroom heater not working, no coverings on multiple windows, no bedding for sofa couch which no one could have slept on anyway springs popped and missing. Shocked management company even took this listing. Finally found reviews on
another website from 2013, apparently things have NOT changed!!!

Hello Marsha, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your stay, as this is not the high level of guest satisfaction we hold ourselves to. We have provided your valuable feedback to our local manager. This home does not have a grill and it is not an amenity for the home. The bathroom heater is working properly. Our manager has confirmed the windows do have coverings and the gas fireplace does work. The cable works; however, due to the home being in a remote location, it can be spotty sometimes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Disappointing service and property
We have stayed in many properties internationally and this was by far the worst. There was a lot not to like about this property. First of all the couches were very dusty and made us itchy. There is a huge window at the entrance that does not have blinds or a curtain and everyone from outside can see right into the property which is a huge privacy issue. Even the doors to the balcony have no blinds. There is no Mountain View as advertised. The rooms downstairs are quite suffocating and get very hot so you need to turn the thermostat way down. It was dusty and not cleaned well. The carpets were dusty too. The barstools are broken. The microwave has cracks. There was chewing gum on the underside of the bunk bed.
We called your services and someone came out and didn’t even bother to provide a temporary fix. He told us there would be reimbursement but there has been none so far. Nancy dropped off some sheets for the couches but she entered the property while we were there without announcing herself and just left the sheets near the entrance. I would have thought she would have knocked?

The place is very dirty, carpet disgusting, chairs fall over backwards when you sit in them. 3 out of 4 burns work on the stove and oven is dirty. We had to wash the dishes before we used them.

Good location could use TLC
Location is great and near the Village. The ski back trail didn't look to have direct access though. The place could use a deep carpet clean and a new couch and lounge chairs. At least one's that don't look and feel like they are falling apart. The couch has seen its days and although advertised as a pull out bed, I don't think it would function as one. At least not comfortably.

Hi, Mark! We're glad you stayed with us and apologize if anything was amiss for your visit. The sofa bed was removed as an amenity several months ago due to being broken, but the homeowner is in the process of buying new furniture. Carpets will be shampooed after the ski season. Thank you!

Great location. Across street from Village & Gondola. Condo is spacious and great for family or large group. Stocked well with all necessary essentials. Place is dated & visibly in need of minor repairs & could benefit from a remodel. If you don't care about luxury and need space & want convenience to the lifts, this place works. We reserved thru Expedia, but the property was managed by Vacasa. We had an issue that upon arrival at 5:30pm after a long day of travel, the condo had not yet been cleaned from prior rental. Local Vacasa management was super responsive and after a couple of hours was all cleaned. That was a huge inconvenience which they refunded a cleaning fee for. However, after our visit I had to call the Vacasa general customer support regarding the refund and they were so unprofessional and darn right rude, so disappointed with Vacasa phone support subsequent to our visit.
You can't beat Val D'Isere for summer trips to Mammoth. walking distance to the Village, hot tub and pool. The other negative review must have been expecting the Four Seasons or something because our experience was just fine. We stay at this complex every year, all units are pretty identical. Check in was actually easier than normal because there is a key-code lock on this unit. What a breeze, had a great weekend.
