Downtown South Haven is a very pleasant, easy 9 min walk away! The beach is a 15 minute leisurely walk away or a quick one mile drive to beautiful South Beach. Check out the amazing sunsets, beautiful sand, kids play parks and greenspace! South Haven's famous Kids Corner park is a 15 minute walk from our house or a quick drive!

This house is newer to the rental market, but we are not! We have another home in South Haven we have rented on VRBO for six years with a 4.9 star rating! (VRBO # 1021803). We are looking forward to hosting you and making your vacation as memorable as possible!

Our family has been vacationing in South Haven for several decades. We fell in love with this home and purchased it in 2020. The location is on a quiet street close to downtown South Haven. Only six blocks away! This house predates 1880 and is one of the most historic homes in South Haven! Homes are not made like this anymore and we've done our best to preserve the character. However, we've made numerous updates including a new kitchen (countertops, kitchen, new oven/stove, new kitchen flooring), brand new washer/dryer, new patio installed in 2021 and all new siding completed in 2022! We are replacing all the carpet on the first floor with flooring in early 2023!

This home is situated on a large corner lot within a quiet family friendly neighborhood and plenty of privacy. The yard is very spacious with so much greenery and areas to relax alone or with others. Enjoy the outdoors with friends and family at the home's fire pit, grill on the patio (grill and propane provided), enjoy the yard, or take a walk to downtown and enjoy what South Haven has to offer - shopping, restaurants, boating, cycling, kayaking, and more. Walking to the beach to enjoy the sunset is only 10 blocks away. Looking at all the homes along the walk is so enjoyable for our family since you'll never find two homes that look similar. Consider walking to the Kids Corner park where you can view the lake while enjoying the green space for picnics or games.

Our home is furnished with a fully stocked kitchen (since we think this is so important!), smart TVs, high speed internet, bedding, bath towels, firewood, gas grill, grilling tools, books, and more.

The home is 1,600 square feet, with two stories and can sleep up to 10 people. The three bedrooms are set up as follows:
Bedroom 1 (main level): 1 queen bed in the master bedroom on the first floor
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): 1 queen bed, a set of bunk beds, a trundle bed and a day bed (this is a large bedroom!)

The spacious master bedroom and a full bath on the main level are very convenient for those that don't want to do stairs. The main level also includes a spacious family room for gatherings, a quaint living room with plenty of light and charm, an enclosed patio with chairs and a table for card games, board games, enjoying the view and spending some peaceful quality time together. The kitchen has a sliding glass door that opens to the patio and side yard! The dining room includes a table for six with four additional dining chairs and a table in the adjacent patio room. The kitchen includes all that you need for your getaway with two fridges and freezers, an oven, gas range, microwave, Keurig, 12 cup coffee maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pots and pans, utensils, flatware, durable dishes, glasses, ice trays, etc.
