Junior 1 Bedroom, lovely & quiet neighborhood, 1 block from South entrance NIH with pass, short walk to Naval Hospital. Walking distance from metro red line between Medical Center (15 minutes) and Bethesda. Walking distance from Bethesda center. It is a basement walk out apartment with its separate entrance on the side of the house. The apartment is fully furnished for short or longer stays . It is located in the quiet and residential Glenwood neighborhood. Size is apprximately 500 square feet, U shaped with at left of entrance washer and dryer exclusive use, to Kitchenette to dining area to living space and bedroom space. In one area the ceiling is 6'3"High in the dining area.

Great solution for a Bethesda event / DC visit

A perfect location, major savings over a hotel, met all my needs in a lovely neighborhood setting. Host was communicative & clear. Unfortunately, some construction on street and nearby properties made parking and traffic patterns around property trickier than what is normal. Be aware: there are two sets of stairs to get to unit, plus a well-lit grass/paver path; cielings are lower and bathroom is a bit tight. However, I am 5'10" and 300+ lbs and did just fine.

Convenient location

We're a senior couple who found this location for a weekend stay visiting friends to be a good value. You should be aware that there is a climb up steps to the property and the unit is in the basement of the property, as the listing accurately states. There is no TV if that matters to you. The close proximity to Bethesda center and the Metro was a big plus. For breakfast try the Tastee Diner. We had a very nice dinner at Black's Bar & Kitchen.

Visiting family in the area.

The property was great for our week stay, and was as promised. The neighborhood was super nice and very quiet. We would totally recommend Marie's place and would stay there again.

Nice place, pleasant walk to NIH

Clean and cozy They've put a surprising amount of functionality into the small kitchen area Walk to NIH is short, and you get to see a bunch of people playing with their dogs on the way

Apartment was cozy and had everything I needed. Close to downtown and in a quiet neighborhood

Stay was great, no issues. Quiet apartment and comfortable bed. Will stay here again.
