I had a wonderful time staying at the tiny house! Everything was so neat and clean and I felt very welcomed walking into the house for the first time. The location is the perfect blend of nature and nearby hiking, shopping, dining, etc. I really enjoyed my time out on the covered porch too, fantastic views!
We enjoyed our stay. The property feels secluded and private. We enjoyed touring the woods around the property. There were several deer and fox to observe on the property. Great proximity to outlook park and Canyon Lake. The beds in the loft are the most comfortable ones!
Beautiful location and quick access to food and attractions. Great option if attending concert at Whitewater! Very quick communication with property manager.
Great communication with Rachel, she gave us all the information we needed and responded really quick. The house was amazing!!! Clean and very comfortable. We are definitely coming back!!!!
The home was very clean. We stayed outside most of the time. Amazing hill views. We fed the deer, and one night a couple of small fox came up to the cabin and played, and we got a video. You can walk to the dam without even getting in your car. We rode bicycles and walked. The owner was amazing. I will definitely go back.
It was a girls trip, we really just slept and showered their. It’s a beautiful location, cute and clean cabin, my husband and I plan on booking again soon!
My husband and I wanted a peaceful, but pleasant time out on the woods, without the traffic and noise from the holiday weekend, and we got exactly what we were looking for at this home!!!!
It was super clean, comfortable, and the most exciting thing was watching the deer. The deer would come up to the deer feeder to check out the food and us watching them. It was special and amazing!!!! I loved the property!!!!
Place was clean. Super nice. Loved the area. Property manager was very responsive. Loft had a Lower ceiling than I expected but good for the younger ones. We slept in room directly below the loft so Son could get a little noisy up there with some creaks in the floor/ our ceiling. But place was great. Plenty of towels and loved the shampoo/conditioner dispenser they have in the shower. Outside area was beautiful. Saw deer every morning. Not far from several places to eat and swim and the lake is gorgeous!! San Marcos and New Braunfels are about 30 min away but it's a nice scenic drive. Plenty of great places to eat there too. Will definitely plan another trip

About the host
Hosted by Rachel
My husband induced me to Canyon Lake in 2011. Being from Florida, I quickly fell in love with the clear turquoise water of Canyon Lake. We spent the summers tubing and kayaking all day to avoid the Texas heat. In 2012, we bought the land and have spent the past few years building the main home with the labor of love. In 2019 we bought the tiny house and added it to the property. We are excited to be able to share this place with you and your family. We currently live in Montgomery, TX. Our co-host, Dora, lives nearby and will be available for in person assistance if necessary.
Why they chose this property
This tiny house is super cute and has a fairly private feel. Escape the city and come take a break. It's super close to most things you'd want to do in Canyon Lake plus near to Wimberley and Gruene.
What makes this property unique
We often see wildlife like deer and fox in the early morning or evening hours. Perched on the side of the hill there is often a nice breeze, especially in the evenings. It's perfect location for biking across the dam to Overlook Park.
