Beautiful comfy historic home. Close to must do’s in Manhattan, such as Liquid Art Winery, Manhattan Hill, Radina’s Bakery on the Hill, and KSU Sports Complex Facilities. We had a nice Girls Weekend Get Away! Thanks to our Host Brooke!
This house was just what we needed after traveling 4 days with 3 little ones. The yard was beautiful. The girls enjoyed running through the grass and we even saw fireflies. Charming, comfortable and clean! Loved our stay!
We stayed in this wonderful home for our son’s wedding. Highly recommend this home for family gatherings. Good location. Lovely furnishings. Plenty of room. Nice kitchen. Made our weekend so easy and relaxing.
Stayed for a family wedding in town. House was darling and very well kept. All essentials were available. The host was very available. Checked on us several times and was very accessible when I had a question. Highly recommend this host/rental.
I really liked the house it was spacious and fit my needs. It was clean. I've always loved those stone houses but have never been in one of them, it didn't disappoint.
We’ve been traveling to Manhattan for 23 years now and this is the best place that we have found. Beautiful 4 bedroom historic home in a centrally located quiet neighborhood with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Also a charcuterie board was waiting for us in the fridge. Nice touch 👍🙏
We had a fantastic stay at Homestead 1880 over the Christmas holiday. Brooke had the house decorated beautifully for the holiday, which added something special. My aging parents and in-laws appreciated that there were two bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor, so they didn't have to climb stairs. My family of four took the upstairs rooms and bathroom.
The location within Manhattan was ideal for our needs! Now that my sister lives there, I'm sure we'll stay here again.
Our family had a wonderful time this past weekend at 1808 Alabama Lane. The updated interior of the historic house was clean and comfortable. We felt welcomed by the owner, who was responsive and easy to communicate with. The historic property has a large manicured yard, which provided for a nice place for outdoor games. We enjoyed cooking, and the well equipped kitchen allowed us to do that.
We enjoyed being so close to the KSU campus and Aggieville. Manhattan is a cozy little city and 1808 Alabama is a great place to relax and enjoy it all.
Wonderful stay at this property! The house was decorated for Christmas and made you feel at home and welcome! Loved the decorating and all of the amenities. We were able to enjoy each other’s company. There was lots of food, laughter, and games played. Highly recommend.
Our family rented this home for a three day thanksgiving holiday. It was absolutely perfect! Four beautiful bedrooms, huge kitchen/dining and great living room and den both with electric fireplaces. They even set up the Christmas tree! Very clean, so much room for family to gather but also have privacy. The property is in a suburban neighborhood just minutes from supermarket, coffeehouses, and a few restaurants. Beautiful stone house updated and furnished in modern farmhouse design. Almost everything we needed was provided including linens and paper goods. The property has a cute side porch with a porch swing and a patio area with a fire pit and charcoal grill. Highly recommend!
