Terrible place
Starting from the beginning, the parking was extremely difficult. The place was in the hills on a one way street and limited parking. Walking up to the place it smelled like cleaning supplies outside, which makes the rest of the story really shocking. The apartment had a flooded sink with standing moldy water filled to the top of the sink. Underneath the sink, more mildewy water flooding the cabinet. The entire place smelly musty. The furniture was old and torn up and dusky. And there were strange black marks and fingerprints on the wall. It was extremely difficult to connect with the owners. Actually, we never spoke to them. I spoke with a woman who managed the properties for them. And communicating with her was challenging because of a language barrier. She never took responsibility for the issue and said that she would only refund us if vrbo policy allowed it. So essentially she wasn't going to refund us. We called vrbo for a resolution, expressing we expect, at minimum, a refund. We have yet to hear from vrbo approving our refund.
