The best location in Reforma area

njoy this beautiful stylish apartment located on the third floor by stairs *only* in the best area of Mexico City, which is Reforma. The area is surrounded by endless places to visit and explore. Reforma is considered a business and tourism zone. The apartment is located in a condominium, it does not have an elevator, we do not have 24 hour security but we offer surveillance cameras in common areas. The area is safe. There are 4 apartments in total so it is very quiet.

Why they chose this property

The Monument to the Mother, embassies, large commercial establishments and half of Paseo de la Reforma are some of the main attractions of the Cuauhtémoc colony.

This neighborhood, located in the delegation of the same name, is one of Mexico City's liveliest. Its activity is centered on food stores, embassies and great buildings that predominate in Paseo de la Reforma; however, this wasn't always the case, because previously there were many large houses in Porfiriato.

La Cuauhtémoc was born at the beginning of the 20th century and, unlike Roma or Condesa, this colony grew at a slower pace. It is said that, like the Juarez colony, it was built on what was the Hacienda de la Teja, which was divided up by Rafael Martínez de la Torre. Today its territory resembles a triangle, whose streets are identified by the names of both national and international rivers.

Walking on Cuauhtémoc means finding an area full of contrasts where ancient buildings coexist with enormous skyscrapers. Upon arriving through Metro Chapultepec, the first thing you find is Paseo de la Reforma, a road that the colony shares with Colonia Juarez. In fact, it is important to emphasize that the Angel of Independence and Diana Cazadora (despite being just halfway) belong entirely to the neighboring.

While walking through the streets of this neighborhood it is impossible to ignore the predominance of buildings, vehicular chaos and large food chains. But don't worry, because in addition to the Art Garden there are other green areas ideal for relaxing and feeling in touch with nature.

The first one is Plaza Melchor Ocampo, ironically located at one side of the Circuito Interior. In spite of being close to the great river of cars the atmosphere here feels more relaxed. Inside there is a statue of Melchor Ocampo and a huge fountain.
