About this property

No parties, large gatherings, or loud activities allowed. No parking on the grass. No smoking inside the house. There is a 4 vehicle maximum allowed. We are good friends with neighbors and they keep an eye on the property. Violation of rules will result in loss of deposit.

The fish come to you at this Canal Home with Green Underwater Fishing Lights! You can see them swimming through all night long! Two fishing kayaks are on property for your use in the canals. You also will enjoy your own luxurious private swimming pool and hot tub with a TV you can easily see from the pool or deck. The hot tub is preheated to 103 degrees. The pool is not heated. There is a nicely equipped downstairs kitchen around the corner with a bar and TV there as well. Automated panels go up and down by remote control to cover the TV and close the bar area! There is a wood smoker down there too right next to it all, sometimes even wood ready to smoke a brisket. Meat smoking tips included! There is also a separate propane grill to use. The little time you spend up in the house will be in clean luxury. Premium linens and towels await. Beach towels included. The kitchen seats 6 easily and more painlessly. There are TV's in every room upstairs with Premium Xfinity Cable. Kids room has a stand up Pac Man game! You have a huge deck upstairs to enjoy the nightly pink puffy cloud sunsets right in front of you! The beach is a one half mile walk or drive away. Do you have enough time to enjoy all of this?! No Pets Please Sorry! Also**You are renting the house and not the Sea Isle Community Amenities. No access to Sea Isle Fishing Pier, Community Pool (You Have Your Own!), or Marina. Boat Lift is Off Limits. Boat owners can pay deposit for Marina access key.

Excellent accommodation

It was the perfect venue for a small gathering of old friends. Plenty of activities available, clean and functional, super close to fun restaurants. Would recommend to anyone interested in a laidback easy weekend.

Great place

This place was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being right on the canal with a pool, hot tub, access to kayaks and a short drive to the beach - you really can't beat it and we would love to stay here again in the future. The kids and husband had a great time catching crabs right there off the dock. The hot tub was not very clean when we arrived, and the owners were not able to get someone out until Saturday night around 8pm, when our trip was just about over. That was the only downfall, but the kids and my husband got in the hot tub regardless. Mickey was very communicative and the guy that came to clean the hot tub was very nice. Overall, that was a very minor detail and would not deter me from renting or recommending this place.

Sea Isle Visit

Very nice property clean and comfortable, owner helpful and responds quickly. We did't have the opportunity to use the hot tub or swimming pool because of a hectic schedule but were nice to have available. There was a storm on the last day of our stay that caused some havoc with the outdoor furniture that we had to deal with but other than that everything was great. Will definitley rent again.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was used every day and multiple times! The pool was cold for the weather we had but was able to swim one day when it was sunny! Caught some crabs which was super fun and used the kayaks! The location was great, close to the beaches and other destinations and places to eat! Only a 20-30 min drive to tourist “Galveston”. If you are able to get groceries more near Houston, make sure you do that! We made a stop at Costco and it helped a lot since the grocery stores near the property are very spendy! They were still good for quick things though… communication with Mickey was great, we had a couple questions and concerns and he addressed them quickly and went above and beyond! I would say the only thing I would change is the cooking items in the kitchen lacked and would have loved some Tupperware and more microwave safe mixing bowls etc. Then the master bed is caving in the middle so it was a bit uncomfortable for us to sleep since we would roll to the middle! But the house was great overall!

Access to the best fishing here in the West Bay. So close to an awesome beach. Green fishing lights bringing the fish to you every night! A great wood smoker to turn out the best Texas Bar B Q you ever cooked! A downstairs bar area with automatic panels and Tv's and LAST BUT NOT LEAST the swimming pool!!! You can sit in the pool and watch TV. Fish and BarBQ and watch TV. Your kid wants to play the Pac Man game (so do you!) Watch the sunset and nothing else. See the stars at night. This is 10 miles West of the main area of Galveston. Sea Isle is the community to be and people come here year after year...And no where else I want to be. How about you?
